Emily, you’ll probably never see this but I watched this vlog so randomly at 2am in the morning… the same time you were up on the last night in your apartment talking about change and how you can overcome. That spoke to me on so many levels. I’ve been struggling with stuff too, and this was such a comforting talk, I felt like we were on FaceTime and you were encouraging me right then and there. Thank you. ❤️

Congrats Emily! The new apartment is gorgeous! I lived alone for 5yrs in my 20s and now I’m engaged and I love him and all but I do look back with such fond memories about that time frame in my life. So much growth happened! Cherish these times girly ❤

Moving is always hard for me, because I like things to stay the same, but you have to change sometimes. I always leave the furniture behind, 'cause I can't carry them. Hopefully things will be great for you going forward.

To do some reflecting, I found you pretty much almost 3 years ago, I was a freshman in high school literally hating the lockdown, and your DCP videos helped me picture a better future. Now, 3 years later I'm going into my senior year and truly look forward to seeing you anytime you post. You have been such an inspiration and it's crazy to see the growth you've had since I started watching. My dream is to be a horticulturist for Disney's Greenhouse in The LAND and honestly, I have to credit you for helping me find that better future. Also, I hope to do the DCP too but I think everyone in this comment section did at some point/wants to too. Congrats on the new apartment!

That "what if I get married in 5 years" really hit me. 5 years ago I was in college and had been a 3 dates with with my new-at-the-time girlfriend. We are now married, own a house and are actively trying to get pregnant. That short amount of time can change your whole life. 🥹

I’ve struggled with that too, medication came w its own side effects that made them not worth but I’ve found practicing mindfulness when the thoughts start to spiral by focusing on your *inhale* *exhale* to be the most promising solution. In the hopes that one day, we will be able to say our minds are no longer the biggest thing holding us back.

Nothing wrong with being attached to your old apartment. I've only lived in 4 different houses / apartments in my life (I'm 27) and I always get attached and sentimental and sad to leave.
