Wow, the amount of talent that has walked out of PFF in the last two years is unreal. Without Eric, Steve, Sam, Mike and Austin, i really have no reason to keep listening

Trevor is definitely a good enough reason to stick around, interested in seeing who else is on the pod with him

Watching the Sam and Steve dynamic develop from Sam taking somewhat icy jabs at a somewhat insecure Steve to Sam taking lighthearted jabs at his pal Big Goofy and the two buds now moving to a new gig together has been really wholesome and enjoyable

Yes, totally agree that all these QBs should not being labeled with binary labels. Having a sliding scale of magician to machine is the right approach. I think Purdy is on the machine side, but he has no small part of magician in him. If I were to grade Purdy on the sliding scale, he would be 65% machine, 35% magician. His ability to survey the field pre & post snap, process that information quickly, and throw to the right guy in stride is what makes him special.

I was listening on a podcast and had to search the CZcams to watch the show at the jj watt discussion.
Firstly Steve does not near look as heavy as jj.
Secondly, listening to your big announcement i could hear the heavy heart with which it was delivered.
Not overly happy about it I assume?
I will look forward to finding the new show anyway. Thank you

I have concerns with PFF “Quality Control” based on grading.
    Something changed in the 2022.
While I often disagreed with your conclusions, I was fine with the grading within a certain measure of subjective disagreement.
However, in 2022, things seemed to changed, I feel players started to be graded based on the perception of the player, not what happened on the play.
My main example of this is Derek Carr & BTT’s, and the 1st time I acknowledged their was a problem was in the 2022 Raiders Vs Patriots game where Carr was credited with ZERO BTTs!
There were several instances of potential BTTs in that game, but I do NOT understand how the game tying TD pass from Carr wouldn’t be considered a BTT?
The distance, Ball placement, “moment”, etc. all scream BTT.
There’s many more example’s throughout that season and the next.
In 2023, when Carr was playing his best Football at the end of the season, PFF has 4 of his final 5 games without a BTT?
I can think of several examples of BTTs over that stretch.
My question is, are player’s being graded now to more align and make the “grade match the perception of what people think the player is”?

Looking forward to new host to be honest. Sam and Steve have gotten lazy woth their analysis and its obvious they just "wing it" with very little show prep. I have been listening for years and they have gotten complacent imo and its time for people who are hungry to do the show to do it

I'm sure I'm in the majority here but I'd love to see the 9ers stick it to BA and just not trade him and make him play or sit and if he acts a fool suspend his ass and take his salary, I'm just sick of entitled rich guys acting like they didn't sign the contracts. Look he singed his contract play or retire or whatever but if you sign a contract they you need to live up to the contract that's the bad part about every salary job EVER if you out perform or work harder or more hours you only make a certain amount that's how jobs work this whole thing is a joke and the owners should take control of these entitled rich babies.
