I legit found a Vulkan tutorial in this style. Literally step one: make a class; step two: fill that class full of constructors and init functions before calling that class exactly once from main before the game loop. I immediately closed that tab and removed the "pp" from my file extension so I never have to see a class again. 5 years learning programming and I _still_ don't understand why classes are a thing. If you actually use it more than a couple of times, fine. But I can guarantee you that the init logic will only exist once in any program, so why are we putting it in a class?
