Good to know Scott I have done multiple tests when I used to be an Uber and Lyft driver here in Las Vegas and the difference between Chevron gas and Arco was about 1.9 average miles per gallon better.
Also the output is significantly better with Chevron physically more wheel horsepower.

Day 1 of all my vehicle purchases, my mechanic Mike does a complete fluid change on everything…Engine Trans Flush in the Oil & Trans, new Signature Series to replace the old Oil & Tranny Fluid, Brake Fluid Antifreeze, Transfer Case, Differential’s. My Tacoma has 252,000 Amsoil miles and runs like new.

Bought a new 2.8 duramax Canyon in July 2022. changed oil to Amsoil around 500 miles immediately noticed a noise reduction in engine and use Amsoil Diesel all in one. Next oil change using Amsoil engine flush. Also sprayed frame with Amsoil Heavy duty metal protector. Amsoil is the best. I have done oil analysis over the years and no other oil performs like Amsoil.

I have all Amsoil lubes in my 92 Jeep Cherokee, and now my new Prius is getting Amsoil.
The free oil changes sometimes turns into problems when their oil jockeys over tighten things, cross thread things, leave things loose, don’t replace all screws or bolts from things like skid plates, and more. They also don’t use the BEST oil and filters. DIY with Amsoil, and if you don’t know how, ask a friend.

Or if you have a Nissan please get regular oil out of the engine immediately. Use amsoil. Don't even wait for that thousand Miles LOL. And get that transmission fluid out of your jatco transmission immediately run amsoil transmission fluid and change it every 50,000 miles. Those Nissan transmissions are notoriously weak. I've seen dozens of them blow before 20,000 miles and I've seen hundreds of them blow right at $75,000 MI

If I had a new car, I would do an undercarriage wash and then put on the Amsoil HD metal protector to keep out the rust and corrosion. I did this on my car at your recommendation in preparation for the salted roads this winter!

Even when you let it idle before you turn it off the turbo is still hotter than other parts of the motor and that little bit of oil sits there and burns onto the metal

Turbo engine are best to change them every 3,500 miles due the amount of heat that turbo engines produces. I've seen my self vct turbo from Nissan, earth dreams from Honda and Ford Ecoboost engines all suffer from beliving the 5000 mile mark from dealerships. Especially when using oils with not enough protection and quality.
100%, if you're running a full synthetic which can be called full synthetic when it's only 25% synthetic I highly recommend changing it at about 3,000 Mi with the Amsoil you're comfortably good for 15,000 miles👍

Nice love it my truck has 6k a f150 but I do pure city driving it’s the ecoboost so it’s got turbos and I do use top tier fuel chevron 91 but even then I added the pi performance improver and the upper cylinder lubricant and changed the oil to ams oil I used to have penzoil ultra platinum and I got a better average from 16mpg in the city to 18mpg In the city I’m loving it

I'm too poor to afford a new vehicle at the moment, but if I were to buy a new car I would baby it the first 1,000 miles and then probably change the oil, check the air filters, and check the ATF color. Maybe do an ATF fluid drain and refill.

What is the name of the oil detergent? Do you run this after draining the oil? By itself? Or with oil? Concerned that it is insufficient volume or lubrication to run in the engine for 15 min. Please send me a plier. I USE FULL SYNTHETIC. Ive used STP oil treatment and gas treatments. Would like to know your opinion of those too please.

I still change my oil every 3000 miles. It probably overkill but I want my car happy.
That's great if you are using regular motor oil even if you change your oil every 500 miles it won't make an improvement basically it has to do with the film strength and soil is different because it's 100% synthetic has a much higher film strength and that's what keeps the metal Parts separated and oil manufacturer can call a full synthetic full synthetic when it's only 25% synthetic or more so that's the big difference this will show it in Greater detail.

Hey eben for some reason I can't find your Facebook anymore. So my local amsoil dealer does not sell filters just the oil. To get a filter would cost me almost $40 with the shipping. So I'm running a k&N high flow filter the one with the wrench adapter on top of it. Can I run that for 15,000 miles without changing the filter? I changed my oil once a year and I typically only put 15 to 16,000 miles on my vehicle. I've been using 5W20 signature series

I recommend trying a gas mileage test with shell and Chevron I think you'll be impressed at the difference
Stick with "top tier" gas. You can find a list online. They have more additives to keep the fuel system cleaner than standard gas that puts in the minimum additive package. And often "top tier" gas costs no more or just tiny bit more, but worth it.

Most likely once a year the motor oil is good for one year $25,000 Mi or 700 idling hours whichever comes first the most important thing is to change the filter because the particles can build up if the filter is not changed usually on most cars I recommend changing the Amsoil oil filter at 12,500 miles is a good time frame if you're doing all highway driving you can change it longer just depends on the vehicle and the way the oil looks👍

Great video Eben. What coolant was in the Jeep was it Mopar OAT (purple)? Curious if the coolant boost works with it?
Great question I'm not sure what coolants in it the Dominator coolant boost is compatible with all other coolants makes models and colors that are watered coolant something that's waterless like Evan's cool and you cannot attitude.

I don't know much about coolant chemistry but when researching the coolant in my car I ran into stories about dealerships mixing other coolants with the Mopar OAT and it causing major problems. Thats why I've been holding off of installing it until I got some knowledge.

The description here on this link will explain it in Greater detail basically three different levels of surfactants that take the formula from cold medium to high temperature allowing the water molecules to get closer to the aluminum better heat transfer better cooling ability and better efficiency makes more power better fuel mileage because you're not an idle up as long running rich and your heater comes out of your vent better where the hot air comes out because it's got a better heat transfer of the air going over the aluminum.

I have to differ on your comment that Costco has cheap fuel that promotes carbon buildup and coking. Costco happens to sell Top Tier fuel similar to all the top name brands of fuel like Chevron, Texaco, ARCO, Union 76, etc.
If you ever lived in Vegas you would realize that all the gas is garbage. When I moved from Florida to Vegas my first tank of Vegas gasoline I noticed something was way off. When I moved out of Vegas my car started running the way it used to. 😂
Yeah you definitely want to watch out for certain fuel I always recommend Chevron and shell they make a big difference in power and fuel mileage I've tested it with my personal Uber car with 20,000 miles of uber Lyft driving and have come to the conclusion Chevron and shell are going to be your best fuels

You Yanks are Lucky that Car Dealerships give Free oil change for a new Vehicle. Doesn't Happen in Australia. When I bought my car brand new 2015 at 5000Kilometers was a free check up, the service Manager almost started crying saying it doesn't cover for Engine Oil and Oil filter change just a check up only lol. I told him I will pay for oil change and Ford charged me around $150 AUD for 6.8 Litres of Motorcraft 15W40 semi synthetic engine oil and Motorcraft AFL 101 oil filter.
