35+ years of listening to many genres of metal and this is right up there as one of the very best I have ever heard.
I started listening to Metal when I was 7. Kiss, Black Sabbath & Alice Cooper pulled me right in. Next year I'll have been listening to Metal religiously for 40 years & I absolutely agree with you. First time I heard em it just came on randomly & I almost sh*t my f*ckin pants. I know it made my weiner wiggle. LOL!

Un pure Chef d'oeuvre. Masterpiece. Véhémence, la nouvelle référence black métal en France. Un pur joyaux qui brillera pour toujours dans la nuit. Un voyage vers le passé, rempli de souvenirs cachés, de douves étroites et de chateaux en pierres. Spécial big up pour le passage acoustique brute dans "Le sous bois, à trois lieues du château" à 40:32. C'est tellement beau, mon dieu.... Tous le reste de l 'album n 'est qu'un black metal dévastateur, parfaitement maitrisé et violent comme le moyen âge. Un grand merci à tout le groupe, le travail d 'artwork (cover sublime) et la production pour ce formidable travail.

This is some really fantastic metal. I love the fast riffing, the synth is so heavy but almost unnoticeable. What an absolute win for this band. I hope to hear more from them.

Man... I don't usually look for new bands. I'm used to stick to the bands I know from the 90s and the beginning of 2000. I was searching for Vehemence (death metal) and CZcams suggested this one at some point... what a grateful surprise. It is awesome... beautiful riffs... something I don't often see being composed nowadays.

J'avais découvert Ordalies il y a quelques temps mais là, l'album est juste parfait. Le morceau éponyme dure 9 minutes et pourtant à aucun moment cette longueur ne se fait sentir. Bien au contraire, même. Sans doute l'une des meilleures chansons du black metal francophone.

Blimey! Nearly 62, listening to Hard and Heavy sounds, for the last 52 years, swearing not to listen to Black Metal or anything related to this genre. Not everything posted by ABMA ist gold, but there`s still plenty of albums worth a listen Like this one. Vive la France! Goosebumps after goosebumps!

Yes.. new album from a band in France, and its good too, but its shenanigans if youre looking for your already beloved Floridian melodic/progressive american death metal band without the hyphens (turns out they almost always matter) Vehemence!!
However with or without the hyphens my playlist will now have both haha

Blastbeats and raspy vocals isn't enough to make this BM, at parts its more Power/Fantasy Metal than anything else. Track 3 is a bomb tho
