this song is like one long love letter to ARMYs about how they're BTS' light. They talk about having a special someone that is able to make them feel like the world stops, and how that special someone is able to give them purpose, and even if that person isn't physically with them, they are always in their thoughts, which gives them energy to take on whatever tough situation comes their way. They also talk about how love isn't perfect, but it's worth it.
Also, any time there is a "galaxy," it's a reference to ARMY

My theory is (based on the lyrics) Light is about having something to guide you through darkness, sadness.
I think when someone is going through bad times, time feel frozen... like we are stuck in a nightmare. So members unfreezing each other or waking each other up is symbolic to how they are helping each other up in bad times. Everytime someone wake up they realise they are surrounded by others, it's like waking up metaphorically that you are not alone.

Jimin said once when touring he had a hard time being lonely in his hotel room. His thoughts were not happy and he felt his hyung had a lot going on, so he didn’t want to bother but not on Hoseok’s eagle watch. They end up sharing a room till the end of the tour. And Jimin’s mood much improved.
That’s one example but we all know how sticky BTS, army is. It’s the same for the members, they support each other. That combo is insane

I don't think this is officially part of the BU, but then again, their Japanese MVs just seem to have clues idk why. Like Jin watching everyone alone in the theater on the screen and moving while time sops for others is like Jin watching them through timelines/ memories on a screen, like in Film Out lyrics and MV as well. Or when everyone is passing through the ed corridor and they especially show a scene of Jimin being so happy reminds me of when they all happily get Jimin out of the hospital.
As for the song, I see this song as them singing about the "light" in their life. Many people think of it as ARMY, I like to think if it as the members, they are each others' light, whenever they're alone, the time freezes for them and whenever they're together, the time flows and they're all happy.

It’s a parallel universe because I also just noticed this but Jin is wearing the exact same shirt and the red door he’s leaning on is the room from his solo me for epiphany.
