District 37 Hare & Hound Desert Race - Lap 1 - 03/26/23

- This is my first time doing a Hare and Hound scramble- out at Spangler Hills w/ District 37 AMA. Absolute blast running out there. I am not fast, and wanted to just finish safely. Looking forward to doing both laps at the next race in April.
KTM300XC built by Mad Jack Racing was top top notch. Build quality through the roof- way more bike than I need, but hey why not enjoy yourself.
Shot on GoPro10 then switches to Insta360. Wanted to see which format I like better. I freaking hate how quickly the GoPro battery dies, and I'm not in a position to swap batteries every thirty minutes.
One thing I miss about California is riding in the open Desert.

I used to ride 2 stroke nothing but. Was trying to purchase a Bultaco 250 around the time they had bankruptcy issues, then purchased a Suzuki 250 and it won me over.
The older I get the better I was. Now pushing 80 all I have are great memories, and trophies, somewhere in storage.😊

Great ride, although using a 60fps frame rate makes the ride look a lot slower than it probably was.
Yeah it doesn't help haha. I've switched back to 30 for everything now. I'm also not that fast lol
Was this the C class, don't know much about hare scrambles, just moto cross, not a lot of speed, even in the flats.
Yeah it was the Novice class. I'm not fast by any means hence looking slow as balls haha

???How many gears in your tranny? Sounds like unusually high RPM. Almost like you’re running in third all the time.
It's a 6 speed, but i suck and was probably in way too low of a gear lol

You on a 500? What was your top speed? Nice race
300XC. I definitely wasn't going too fast. I never got out of third. I'm slow as heck

Why is that phone or camara right in you’re way .lame shift up .
That is my 360 camera. Was experimenting with it vs the GoPro. I believe the second half of the video switches to it.
