Nice job I like the Matt paint really sets the loco

Thanks, it does look well, I am pleased with it, although the varnish finish was supposed to be satin!

Hi steve, where is the headlamp from?

Hi it is a really nice bronze one with bright LED picked up at a show, I think it was from chuffed to bits, but I just keep my eye out as these seem to be limited production items. Sorry to be vague.

@@mrtc20hp thank you. Can I ask what the height and diameter (front of the lamp) are in mm?
Unfortunately I couldn't get any from Chuffed2bits but have sound some similar ones but want to check the sizing.
And can I also ask what you used for the cab floor as well as where you got the handrails from?
      Many thanks, Charlie

@@charliemartin1400 Hi Charlie. The handrail knobs are from Roundhouse Engineering. The brass wire is 1.6mm diam. from the model shop. The chequerplate floor is 00 gauge detailing pack from WILLS. This is a grey plastic product & comes with rivet strips as well. These are a bit small for our scale!. The lamp is 11.6mm diam, over the bronze housing. Height from bonnet to centre is 12.6mm. Front to back depth is 11mm. The base diam. is 6.5mm. Hope all this helps. SteveT

@@charliemartin1400 Hi, it is an elderly tin of Humbrol cream from a railway colours range no longer produced. But usually I just mix up a cool, yellowish or whitish cream colour that matches the loco you have pictures for!
