Venue: Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía (Madrid) 14/04/2011
    F. Schubert: An die Musik (F. von Schober) for voice and piano in D major D 547
    Abstract:
Profesor Höll points out that the simple character and tempo of the performance were suitable. It is important to sing with long phrases. Then, Prof. Höll explains some issues related to the Schubert's opus numbers. It is interesting to know this to understand the relationship with the composer's emotional circumstances.
About the singing, Hartmut Höll corrects some phrasing and pronunciations. The most important matter is to sing in an open way, without cuts and not speaking.
