I appreciate the misophonia warning in the description so much, thank you!! Strangely enough, ASMR is the only place I actually donât mind mouth sounds, but having a warning is so appreciated for days when I canât tolerate it as well. Love the video, these sci fi style ones are so much fun!

@@crosstitch2270 itâs basically when certain sounds (like chewing, tapping, and squeaking) can make you react really badly (for me itâs annoyance and anger on better day, and panic attacks on the worst days.) Hope this helps!

I don't have an aversion to mouth sounds like many do, but there was definitely a solid minute during that part where I was like "Please stop eating me. This isn't standard protocol."
I have some issues with mouth sounds if they are too close (like, too close to my ear/hearing). I had the exact same thought every time I watch this video. It's always like, "please, no one told me I might get eaten on this planet! Let me go hooooome"

For anyone wondering what a Gastropod is itâs any of a large class (Gastropoda) of mollusks (such as snails and slugs) usually with a univalve shell or none and a distinct head bearing sensory organs.
I just imagine some kids giant bowl of slime they poured out in the table being investigated by these top tier scientists. This is so fun! And of course relaxing!
If I'm correct, a gastropod is like snail... So basically, we are a giant human-sized viscous being with two disturbing feelers... and French, 'cause snail (I'm French by the way, I love clichés most of the time)

You really did a good job with acting and creating the characters. It was obvious that one knew all about how to do this and had a passion, another knew how to do this but had no passion or excitement, and the other is a child that doesnât know what they are doing but has a lot of passion and excitement. Also hood job with the character makeup and looks!

This was a great concept. Clone medical staff at a covert government extraterrestrial holding facility. This was definitely going the extra mile, huge amount of effort and work put into this. The video editors must have been working overtime for this. Incredible work all round. đ
Not wearing my glasses I read the title as "Alien Isopod" and I was just in love with the idea of a giant isopod just vibing.
The one in pink really reminds me of this one character from âsilence in the libraryâ (a Doctor who episode) who is seen as dumb by everyone on the mission but she is doing her best to be helpful. I love both so much and feel bad for both too đđ

I had an interesting thought of, what if someone did a video in this style, but added in some like, noises and shuffling of feet, maybe even some muffled talking in the background to make it seem like the "other people" are moving around out of sight. It would add an extra level of immersion.

If weâre gastropods, then we have mouths, but no vocal cords- although most molluscs have a shit ton of grinding teeth or a sharp beak. If they get near our face, things could go wrong

Plot twist: The scientists have approached it from the wrong end and are examining around the alien's butt while it is napping. The creature just uses mimicry to appear to have a face on that side.
also what if like the suds reaction to the mask is like the aliens way of sweating [ie. when theirs too much moisture the alien creates suds to expel some of the moisture]
