I LOVE crappie fishing. I like bass fishing.. I found your channel through crappie fishing. But now I'm a fan of you. Your a true fisherman. You are making great content. The way you explain things is great. I also appreciate how you respect the beauty of the fish.. Keep up the good work.
Great video Crappie video nice crappie especially that 1st monster was incredible...all of them were very nice thank u 4 that and also sharing your plastics that u use 👍🏽
Great video. Just got back from Lake Fork. I used the ity bitty slab hunter. Great results. 4 over 2lbs and multiple right at 2. Fork always produces! Thanks again for sharing knowledge.
Where in Tennessee are you, I'm in Kingsport and fish the same way this time of year. Keep up the videos, they are a great deal of enjoyment for an old man that's too old to be in the cold.
Awesome video and dang nice crappie. Yes those black nose crappie definitely fight hard. Thanks for the info. Good luck on all your fishing. Really like your channel 😎
I’ve been watching your channel for several months now and you really bring a good perspective to crappie fishing. I would like to make a trip to Tim’s next week , can you give me any direction on where to focus ?
Another good one. Keep them coming. Just wondering if there’s any certain settings you use on your trolling motor. I have same one. In spot lock mine hunts a lot more than yours Thanks
Just came across your channel and fish all these same lakes in middle tn. Thanks for posting and passing on some stuff. I just got livescope and trying to find these fish on other lakes than priest.
Holy crap dude you were in the mother load of slabs. Every single one you pulled up was a hoss. I might have had to pull dinner out with them looking like that. Could have fed everybody lol
Very nice fish. I fish in the piedmont of NC on a couple of lakes. Our conditions are similar. So, how did you locate the fish, Just by experience, time of year, electronics? In our area it was 24° last night, 50 ish today, sunny and similar conditions over the next few days. Are the docks located in a specific type location, on a channel? I did notice you fishing the shady side of the dock. I guess that's kinda typical on bright day!
You know since you been doing the crappie fishin videos. Ur tips have helped out alot with dock fishing different species for me. My go to is a 1/24 oz jighead and a bobby g pile driver or a sassy shad. Ive seen googan baits got their own crappie baits coming out they look great i think u should check them out
Another great video Brandon, what's the water temp on your waters now. And how did you go about finding those fish, do you use live scope or SI to find them. Thanks for sharing brother
@@BrandonLesterFishing thats great ! If you have an empty spot on the boat and need a fishing partner to get some double ups in the live well I'm right down the road man
brandon it would be very helpful if you SHOWED where you are targeting and WHY. we can't see where your casting to. It's always a question when we pull up to a dock to target under boat or toons or on outside. Your seeing where the fish are but often we arnt using electronics and simply eyeballing it.
100% agree there is no such thing as luck. There is only God Himself and what you put in. Put in the work and success will come. Sometimes days are easier than others
Do you know exactly what the black nose is? I've heard them called magnolia crappie but the look like a black crappie to me. Also where do you buy the dye. I appreciate your channel. Great videos.
I honestly don't know exactly how the blacknose crappie came to be. I have heard that they are some form of a hybrid between a white and a black crappie but I don't know that for facts. Maybe someone smarter than us will chime in and enlighten us because I'd love to know myself. You can find the dye about anywhere that sells fishing tackle. It comes in a bottle or a marker form. Thanks for watching!
@@BrandonLesterFishing I can't claim to be any smarter but there are numerous articles stating it is a black crappie with a recessive gene that makes it appear that way. Thanks for another great video!
Hello ! Brandon Lester. I am a big fan of your CZcams video’s. Will you please help me mr. Brandon Lester ? I lost all my crappie/ bluegill fishing equipment due to a storage house fire. God bless us for we can help others who are in needed. Thank you so much.🙏
I don't know about y'all but I don't like throwing my crappie back in if I'm going to give it my time I'm going to take them home I don't have the money to go out and sport fish I wouldn't sport fish to start with but different strokes for different folks

Water temp is around 57-58 and falling fast. I find these crappie on docks with side scan. Thats the quickest way. Thanks for watching!

It's been good lately that's for sure! Thanks for watching!

Are you watching the crappie on your livescope or just locating them with it and then just fishing without looking at the screen?
Have you got a tin rig or just your Phoenix? Great vid, thanks!
Just my Phoenix for now. Been looking at tin rigs. May buy one in the next year or so. Thanks for watching!
