Hello Katrina love your studio apartment. I lve in a studio also a solution for your couch 🛋️. Just take a couple of blankets and fold them together and put under your cushion to bring it up to level with the other cushion . Blessings
300 Sq ft is not as small as you think, I lived in a 325 sq feet studio for years, and miss it everyday. The trick is to buy items that can do more than one thing. I had a beautiful vintage hope chest that was my "coffee table" and storage for linen. My landlord was very open to my decorating and painting as long as it was respectful. I was very lucky!!
For a small place, I think you did an amazing job of fitting in what you need- and arranging it in a very pleasing manner. I absolutely love that you have a dog in a small place, too! I feel I can comment on this as I lived in small studio apartments for 26 years in Manhattan. I have a larger one bedroom now but I liked my time in studios. I like that you can see the whole place at a glance and I find them cozy. 🌺💐🌸

@@katrina.l I’m absolutely sure you take the best care of your dog and I really admire anyone who has a pet and cares for it, as I’m a big animal rights activist. ( I have 2 senior cats I adopted!) and I think your dog is lucky to have you and it doesn’t matter at all that it’s a small place. You’re giving him the most important thing- love! And great job with your place, it’s terrific.
As a NYer (Manhattan), getting that amount of space for less than $1000 (even with the exchange rate) is AMAZING!

You have a lovely home and I love that you turned the bed - it does open up the space. I also appreciate your family heirlooms. It's nice to see spaces that aren't decorated only with Ikea. I'm downsizing next year and hoping I can purge enough of my stuff to go small. I worry that my doggie will have trouble adjusting - she's a 22 lb American cocker spaniel. Seeing Hank lounging there gives me hope she'll do the same.
awe I'm sure she'll be fine! hank didn't seem to have any trouble adjusting to the down size when we moved in 🙂
What an adorable little apartment! My fav is the trunk that was your mom’s & the set of drawers that was your aunt’s. I love seeing sentimental things from the past. Hank is so cute & chill! 🌸 🐶

It is hard to find appropriate decoration items for so small apartment, but you have good ideas. This bathroom needs a beautiful poster that brings you more fun in that boring wall, and you can paint the mirror frame, or better cover the little drawer door with some interesting stick paper...if you choose a color range...it coul be a great change!
Nice apartment! In NYC it would cost 3 - 4x as much (if we're talking US$). Your color scheme and decor look relaxing. Putting your office in the alcove makes sense - keeps your office out of your bedroom/living room. Maybe you could design or purchase some pretty vinyl stickers for your bathroom wall? Some are tacky, but I've seen some classier ones too. Your dog is adorable. My daughter is also named Katrina 😊 I would love if she could find a place like this 😀 Be well, stay safe, enjoy!

You did a good job, bathroom can be painted white, brighten it up and it's good you have windows in the kitchen and bathroom. You could ask the landlord to smooth out the walls in the bathroom. Cute dog

It's so cute. Re the sofa , go online for factory direct upholstery foam cut to size. You can add a long piece under both cushions or split it & put inside the cushions ( if they have zip covers). Either works.
the cushions are built into the couch so I'd have to look into it but that's a really good idea! thanks 🙂

I never thought I would like living in a studio. I decided to move in studio due to mental health I have significant ptsd episodes at bedtime & hard for me to sleep in separate room. I struggled with it for a lot of years. I decided to it would be best to down size from 1 bedroom to a studio it’s been 5 years . Not sure of the square footage my studio is medium size but it’s very wide open. I have a pet & I don’t feel cramped
If there is a craft shop near you they sell cushion fiber to refill and repair yourself....no more butt dent :) and you could put textured wall paper on the bathroom wall and paint it any color or leave it white. God bless

🤍 Love a home 🏡 with lots of sentimental💕 stuff & inherited items. They bring such warmth, character, & personality.
How lucky🍀 to have a dressing area turned office 🖥 too. 😴It certainly seems way more relaxing to have your computer & all that related equipment separate from your main living space👍.
😉My friends & I jokingly describe a room's size by how many backsides can fit in all at once. Both your 🍽 kitchen & bath🛁 are definitely "1 bum" width. At least with the former, someone could sit on the breakfast bar side & help with prep🔪 work well out of the way.

Love the dog and the apartment… hmm there must be something cute and clever to do with the bathroom wall. In your office if you decide you don’t want the faux flowers anymore you could do a strand of soft twinkle lights for some ambiance 💓👏👏
I did just out some lights in the other room, maybe next time I get bored with the place I can swap them around 🙃
I would hang tapestry on the bathroom wall or art. Bright white paint is needed. New lighting . Even a lamp . Just needs some TLC . hang a plant large mirror on the ugly wall would add needed light .
I also love that sink for some reason.
it looks nice, but it's a bit of a pain to wash your face in! 🙃
Great idea makng that small room an office; it is just the perfect size.
Try putting a white tall thin book case/cubical might help with storage.

Hello your apartment is just beautiful,❤I had a similar problem as yours with my saggy sofa seat I just a got a square of upholstery foam an slipped it on top of the saggy bit Unser the cover good as new! Xx
that's a good idea, the cushion is attached to the couch so I can't fully replace it but maybe hiding it under the cover wold work!
You can put texture on the wall in the bathroom

Hi you have done a great job with a small space. For your bathroom wall perhaps wall decals to help detract the eye from the bad areas without putting something on the whole wall.

Nice to see your space again. I would probably put a mirror over the wallpaper in your workroom just at your sitting height to reflect the main room and have it not feel so claustrophobic. I think your place is really cute (though the bathroom is a pretty tight fit), and I do think changing the orientation of the bed was a great idea! Great work with a tiny space!
Instead of getting another couch, what about having the seat cushions repaired or put another cushion, pillow or something on top of existing cushions & keep some sort of cover over the couch?
right now I have a pillow in the dent under the cover and its working well for now!
