  • HELLO
    I'm Linh and I’m a Vietnamese student living in Waterford and taking master in International Business program, South East Technological University (SETU, Waterford Campus) or Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) in the pase. ☘️
    Obviously this video is not presentative of all SETU students. It is just based on my personal experience and what I normally do on a day-to-day basis.
    I hope you enjoy it.
    Hello các ông,
    Toi là Hải Linh, du học sinh chương trình thạc sĩ Kinh doanh quốc tế tại South East Technological University (Waterford Campus), trước kia là Học viện Công nghệ Waterford, Ireland. ☘️
    Đây là một chiếc video về những hoạt động chính trong một ngày đi học đi chơi bình thường tại thành phố Waterford nhỏ xinh.
    Hi vọng các ông sẽ yêu thương và góp ý cho nó nhẹ tay thui nhé! Peace ❤️

    Hello miss, thanks for this video, I am planning to study in SETU University and i need some information about Waterford so my question is how much wages per hour for international students as part time job?? And Which skills are good to get easily part time job and better wages in Waterford??

    • @rollingstoneplaylist
      @rollingstoneplaylist  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Hi there,
      I didn't have any part-time job in my time in Waterford but as I remember the wage for student as part time job is at least equal to the minimum wage (around 10.5 euro per hour) of the EU.
      During probation, it could be just 85%.
      About your 2nd question, I'm not really sure but I thing the most important thing that you show them your willingness, hard work and commitment to the job.

    Hi Linh, I am interested to study in SETU - Master of Business(Finance & Business analytics). Could you please help me understand about the passing marks and exam pattern (is it just assignments or written exam)? It will really help me make a decision. Really appreciate your time and advise.

    • @rollingstoneplaylist
      @rollingstoneplaylist  Před rokem

      Hi there,
      SETU passing mark is 4/10 (it needs 7/10 to get First Class Honour).
      The program is divided into 3 semesters. Semester 1 and 2 have 6 modules for each. Semester 3 you have 3 different types of modules you can choose so it's not a big deal. For the exam pattern, as I remember about MBS program, in semester 1 there are 2 modules have written exam and there are 3 modules have written exam in semester 2. All others modules will have group work, presentation or assignment instead.
      Actually all of our professors are really supportive and it's not hard for us to pass or even get high score in written exam.
      I hope it helps. If you have further queries, don't hesitate to ask me.

      Chị thấy thử thách (trên phương diện học bằng ngôn ngữ khác, cần tư duy và ứng dụng thực tế nhiều hơn, cách học khác) nhưng cũng không hề quá khó khăn theo kiểu không theo được (vì thầy cô và bạn bè giúp đỡ cực nhiều và chương trình học không hề quá thách đố). Việc mình cần làm chỉ là tự tin và thẳng thắn thôi mọi chuyện sẽ rất ổn

    Hi there.. Actually I got offer for MBA in finance and business analytics in the college.. What's your opinion for the course and college?

    • @rollingstoneplaylist
      @rollingstoneplaylist  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi there,
      Honestly I don't have much knowledge about MBA course here. We just have some similar modules and most of them are kinda interesting (you might also learn about marketing and creative and knowledge management within an organization).
      You also have an international trip in Belgium and present in front of the EC about your thoughts and idea to contribute for them. That's all I know about it and hope it helpful.
      About college, it's lovely and really supportive. This year WIT gonna merge with other technology institute to be the South East University so that I think there will be so many other opportunities for you when joining this course. But anyway in comparison with other big university, WIT still have some limits (its mainly focus on technology), class size is small. But its program and lecturers are still qualified so don't worry.
      Hope these gave you some useful insights.

    Hi,
    I want to study abroad in Ireland and Waterford Institute of Technology is on my list of universities. I would also want to study International Business so can I ask you, how hard the school is (English is my second language si I am a bit worried) and do you still have time for par-time jobs. And just if you like the university and living in Waterford? 😅😊

    • @rollingstoneplaylist
      @rollingstoneplaylist  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Veronika,
      Firstly, about IB course, actually this course is especially designed for international student so that it's not really hard in comparison with other streams. So don't worry about it. English is also my second language and I felt worry a bit at first but for now I can surely say that it will be oke at all. My lecturers are really supportive and my classmates also.
      I don't have any part-time job for now but yes we still have time for that. For master program, we just need to go to school 2 days per week and my other classmates still working even for a full-time job.
      WIT is lovely for me (and IB program even provide double degree, one is from WIT and one is from another economic university in France). If you love peaceful place, you will love living in Waterford and it's safe here. But if you are extroverted person who love socialize maybe you can feel a bit boring sometimes.

      In Waterford it is not really hard to find a part time job, as a student you can work 20 hours a week in normal time and work 40 hours a week during holiday.
