- Fox hunting in Ireland is a very popular sport which runs from November to March. It's a test of skill and stamina on both horse and rider. It takes you over natural cross country jumps and open country side at speed an not knowing what's ahead is all part of it. A few thrills and spills along the way are all part of the days fun.
This hunt is run by The Suir Vale Harries Hunt and was filmed by @Brian S

The fox is always wily, the horses are kept in fine condition, - the hounds are happy and healthy, - the 'other' stock is very questionable, - maybe too-much port 'n' cheese in the feed?
Isn't there a ban on fox hunting? (I love watching the jumping in these videos, but...)

@Blance Müller are you serious? Open your *eyes* they are clearly hitting their horses and the jumps are extremely dangerous, so many people fell. This is animal abuse and I can not understand how you think it's ok
@Blance Müller It's not about my channel. And I'm not thinking negative, but can't you see how these horses are treated? Do you think any horse would jump over such objects? So many horses fell and are forced to jump into a river, open your eyes!

@silverkitty2503 I ride with my local hunt, and I've rode a couple of times in Ireland, and I've never seen anything wrong with the culture. Giving a horse a hard ride does no harm to the horse.

hello from usa from a horse person to another i see so much wrong poor horsemenship ,ill fitting tack, heavy hands,many need to shorten up there irons.and for god sake give your horse it;s head when jumping,3/4 of the horses are above the bit on the flat,do they have any leg boots in irlend ,if so use them,hoof bell boots too,if ya going to jump let;s see some proper form,how some proper reins, crest release and leg aids,it seen the younger riders have a better seat then all of the adults
