The festivities officially commenced with a media launch on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at the Holiday Inn Resort in Rosehall, Montego Bay.
The launch event highlighted the festival's commitment to community and culture. "We are deeply committed to giving back to our youth, who represent the future of our community. By supporting their education, we are investing in a brighter tomorrow. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to the people of Montego Bay and beyond for their incredible support over the past 15 stagings. Without you, this festival would not be the success it is today."
Adding to the excitement, a dance troupe from Glendevon Primary delivered a captivating performance, showcasing the talent and creativity of Montego Bay’s young people.
