I experienced this similar thing during my wedding 2009. I didn’t have a wedding planner because I was relatively new in Lagos. I couldn’t trust anyone with the plans. Marriage is the ultimate goal. You can still do 10years of recreation of your wedding. Ndoo

Hahahahahaha. My wedding in someone else's mouth.😂😂😂 Everything went wrong. Grandmother in law fell sick on the morning of my wedding and they had to rush her for medical treatment. Making my parent in law arrive about 3 hours late for the wedding. Make up artist started my make up late(It was a double wedding) so she spent the morning at my sister's place( her words). By the time my make up was done, I was about 2 hours late for my own wedding with my dad threatening to start the wedding without me. I lost my cool and wrote a whole epistle to my best friends on my wedding morning on things I wished they did better and they chose that day to give me full time attitude hence, having most part of my wedding without them until some minutes to 4pm when they suddenly showed up again. After so much drama surrounding getting a hall with my dad not agreeing and our guest having to travel down on a bad road only for the rain to start (Thank God it stopped in good time). Or the Clerics (because we started late) decided to take the whole day to themselves thereby making a reception party impossible and the MC having to leave before we could start😂😂. You should see them struggling to share food during the sermon. Oh, did I forget to add the part where the driver that was supposed to convey my husband's family to the venue chose that day to have his phone switched off despite calling around 5am saying he is on his way to pick them up. ( Dude later called around past 4pm saying can he still come😂). I could go on and on about the things that went wrong but I thank God that despite all that went wrong at the wedding, my marriage had been the best gift of God to me so it was all worth it.

Secondly, when we arrived at my wedding venue it was so full with my mums people. All seats were filled. My husband had to ask me that babe is this our venue? I am not so sure it was a great idea to get a call from your pastor the night before. I mean you guys had counselling and all those should and would have been thought through! I mean were you supposed to call the thing off the night before? I mean technically, you could have if you were concerned but that definitely would provoke anxiety!
Oh it was from a good place. We didn’t do the counselling with my own church but Jason’s church. So it wasn’t my Pastor In Nigeria that counselled us, that’s why he still had to have a word with us before the wedding
