Making Gen 13-15 same stats sounds like a nice idea, except when you get them force feeded all at the same time, without any way to get enough of the needed potions to even make them purple - except by dumping loads of money of course. Just widens the gap even faster than ever, and make those states prey to older states they get matched to.
FunMinus follows their plan to force out all low and non-spenders, and milk the big spenders as fast as possible until they give up too.
If you think you can use these equal stats to skip a hero or two - they introduced this rock paper scissor concept so you still need all heroes if want to have an advantage - focusing on a few will result in weaknesses against their counters.
Combine this with the various rare tempest arms skills and their synergies with certain hero skills, and it gets really complicated, and ideally you need a bunch of ultra rare tempest skills to counter every situation.
