I've found out about Mad City when S2 was released in Chapter 2. I played it and was literally in love with it, but after that I stopped playing because of the fact they had tons of bugs, way toooooooooooooooo long grinding and not even something similar to a "normal dev team". So now I'm playing only Jailbreak, it's much better and actually I'm planning to CREATE MY OWN GAME BASED ON JAILBREAK! I was inspired by the penthouse, I wanted to buy it in Jailbreak but I thought: "it'll take so long to grind for 1.5m, lemme just create my own game and obtain even cooler houses)))
I like a old mad city and I miss😢
The last ditch effort to save mad city is to re release chapter 1.

Tbh, it would be completely pointless to re-release Chapter 1 cuz it won’t bring any core benefits that devs actually care… (re-increase in popularity, bring new/back players,encourage them to keep playing the game,etc)Because of Chapter 2 and also the amount of time they took to make it, camed along alot of repercussion which literally ruined the whole entire game itself in terms of popularity wise, basically they’ve made a HUGE mistake by working on Chapter 2 in the first place because it costed the reputation of the studio and the game to completely crash down.
Even tho that doesn’t mean I’m against the idea of one day being able to replay Chapter 1 again but what I’m trying to say is that bringing it back would be 100% useless and considering the state of the game rn they should have their focus on the main game and updating it with crucial updates (for example;season 3)than rather dropping another game just for the sake of OG players.🫠
They honestly, I think they should restart making mad city, The team should just scrap the right know mad city and get some developers and a proper team, then they can work on a new mad city from scratch, maybe make it like chapter 1 🤔 (just a thought)

The actual problem imo was the physics. They changed the physics for the characters and the planes and shit. Plus the best hero in that game was nerfed so bad that entirely people were rarely heroes. And if u ask me, I prefer the older map than the new map.
True story of Mad City (Dark side)
People don't like Mad City bc of the realistic physical engine, It is too real that u can't perform special tricks, like the boost to fly on JailBreak or the wall jump with Light bike on JailBreak.
Back in Mad City CH1, there are a lot of glitches, which players like them. But after the CH2 rollout, everything changed, anti-cheat prevented players from doing wall clip glitches etc, and most of the players engaged in exploits which allowed them to teleport and farm money. With 5~6K players playing, 3~4K players have used an exploit at least once. At that time, Mad City made an Anti-Cheat which prevents players from firing events to the server, 80% of the scripts are patched. Mad City lost 1/4 of the players. Then they are back because scripters fixed the exploit. But in the end of August, there was a fight between script hubs, and one of the script hub (A) stole scripts from another script hub (B). Then for some reason, script hub (B) quite. Script hub (A) can no longer steal script from script hub (B), so there are no updates till then.
Thanks to Roblox and SynapseX, they made anti cheat for roblox, they cure the problem of exploit from the root. Mad City lost most of their players.
If Mad City CH2 kept the old physics for players and planes, and fixed the lagginess, it would be great.

Dude ch2 is so much more balanced you people quit bc of the air vehicle spawning being removed well they made it so there’s a 2 minute cooldown and the guns are much better then ch1
Vehicles are better and there’s more of them dude plus ch1 was so unbalanced the best weapon was locked behind a paywall aka the rpg and the grind in ch1 was so annoying plus the@@yotamdude5866

Mad City was great, i remember the first time i saw it with my lil brother we were screaming and jumping everywhere because of all the new things jailbreak didnt have compared to mad city. But Mad City is a lot more harder and had the ridiculous gta prices on cars. I mean 400K for a freaking musle car is absolutely wild.

Mad city had things I wish jailbreak did, better robberies, more cars, bigger map but I never liked it because it felt like a knockoff, especially when jailbreak would release an update then mad city would have the same update like 2 weeks later

but once they added chapter 2…
too much changed and it just wasn’t the same
not the same vibe,map changed too much too fast, and the robberies just didnt feel as fun
the og stuff was what made me like the game and when they changed that i just left
simply just became unfun..not the same game anymore

the reason the end of CH1 live event was broken bc how there was so much players in a server everything was hapening in 1 second and that caused it to break some players be stuck in a room the live event stoping working and i agree with these videos is over for mad city everone starting to quit im probabely one of the last og players bc i started mad city back in april 2020

Mad city died after the crisp bacon boss fight so here’s what they need to do
1. Add more heists like mall
2. Make new parkours or revamped areas for heists every month and change it every week
3. They make stuff like boss fights and quests instead of “Crates”
4. Make tournaments and stuff so the game can be more fun
5. Listen to the community & tell them what ideas they want
6. They return the big chapter 2 map & plan on adding another map to merge the maps to 1 giant map
7. They should add stuff like forests or desert or scorched areas
8. Add seasons every 2 months
9. Chapter 1 PVP cuz we are good with it

honestly i quit mad city because of the fact that when chapter 2 first came out, you had to go to the AIRPORT to get a flying vehicle, the flying physics were absolute dookie, the robbery was a lot more longer the fact that you had to drive all the way to another base for money and not even for that much money, the new superheroes kind of sucked a bit, and the mad city map is just so bad now i feel like something is missing.

I left mad city beacuse 1st. I lost my account with banshee (first ever event vehicle). 2nd. It is too cartoony and the GRINDING. 5 million for a bat car and much more. (hope y'all got point).

i mean they released a good update 3 days ago so mad city is great but the dev problem is solved because of maximumadhd he is a great dev he makes good updates and on time so i think 2024 is going to be big but they should add something like jailbreak bonus spin from robberies and add vehicles instead of hyperchromes so its kinda worth it to grind
I used to like both jailbreak and madcity (although i do admit i am a jailbreak OG), but further updates made mad city boring and the grind felt useless, vehicle mechanics were hard to master and overall it was a rinse and repeat of everything. Arresting was damn near impossible and all the textures had a plasticy feel to them, which made me uncomfortable. Jailbreak is the king imo and hopefully with the release of OG things it will slowly rise to its former glory again

honestly they should bring back the old boss fights, the actual things we loved back in chapter 1 and stuff.
2019 - 2020 was the prime time of mad city, while yes some updates were slow, they were just starting out and that's a fair point. Between all the small updates like new map expansions, new robberies, and bosses were great but after the Halloween update in 2020 that's when I would say it started to go down hill, less people were starting to make videos on it, an example being sketch and kreekcraft.
I'm glad to be apart of some of the history of mad city example being the finding the cookie in the volcano first and helping people beat boss events. But after the area 51 update i personally stopped playing pretty much as it just got repetitive for me (also around the time i stopped playing jailbreak as well to play different games). The updates became a formula of "Release a new update with a new season, boss half way through the season and maybe a new robbery but that's the thing that really killed mad city, the constant additions to robberies where they couldn't add new ones cause they were already in the game so they only could revamp old ones which most of the community seemed to hate. It felt like they weren't able to engage with the community anymore with everything going on behind the scenes.

Mad City died because of lack of updates, developers ignoring the community, and the game runs at like 2fps, and the devs are literally toxic towards their own community, ur kinda wrong in this video
btw the live event for ch2 was broken because it was actually a last minute project by alreadypro :)

Chapter 1 of mad city was amazing, Chapter 2 is good too and I still think chapter 2 is better than jailbreak. But chapter 2 is not NEARLY as good as chapter 1, chapter 1 was just something special. I don't like to make a big deal about video games but chapter 1 WAS just that good.
The crazy thing is that chapter 1 with NO content updates for 2 years still had over 10k active players everyday, now chapter 2 WITH updates hardly EVER reaches 3k...... chapter 1 with an update every month would do WAY better than chapter 2 with an update every week. Mad city could revive if they brought chapter 1 back.

Mad City never said they were going to make a chapter 3 and ever since the winter update they've been trying to improve

I don't know what it is but when I join Mad City, the graphics are terrible and low quality despite having full graphics slider. I guess it's because of how many bugs are in Mad City. Mad City 3-4 years ago was extremely fun and now it's complete shit

Jailbreak removed a lot of og things because of hackers ruining it I hate the new robbery system but they did it because of hackers and other things I liked the og seasons but again auto arresters/robbers

Jailbreak was taken out in terms of the long run by mad city, and thus we know whom the true winner is, rest in peace to both games, they are both on their last breath.

The main reason I never played jailbreak when it was released was bc only a few months later madcity was made and I loved mad city and was one of those people constantly hating on jailbreak although now that the game isn’t even rememberable

I feel like mad city still has a little chance to be saved but it would be very difficult tbh what they could have done was to end chapter 2 season 1 start the secound season with a bang bringing a new corrupted boss from the event a chunck of the chapter 1 map like the carnival or smt and adding a corrupted season and they could have went with chapter 2 being its own thing without leaving the core of what made mad cityad city which is chapter1
i play both games, and imo, mad city killed itself from the messy code in ch 1. if they never messed up the code, they wouldn't have had to spent 2 years making ch 2 and keeping the community bored. the live event itself from being buggy also drove some away, and the false promises like a new prison in ch2 also drove people away, but it was never jailbreaks probelm, it was their own

The reason i quit is because in c1 i had 300lvls and nearly 100mil cash. At the start of c2 i had 5 lvls and 10k cash

i played madcity for a long time so this is my opinion oon how thy can make the game better like the new pvp sytem ruined the game and the animation the physics for driving the thunderbird ruined it imagine it used to be one of the best cars now it just sucks and the hero team is so overpowered ryt now like thy used to be prison wars but honestly madcity killed itself by ruining the pvp system cause thats wat kept it going for the past 2yrs when thy didnt release any updates and its community was mainly made up of pvp nerds like once ur a high level thts all u do dont get me wrong the driving on land is amazing and the hero buffs are kool but tbh i ll rather play the old game and thy shuld just revert to the old physics (but shuld keep the driving and new weapon design but let the weapons work the way thy worked in chapter 1) i miss playing madcity yes but ryt now i jus play jailbreak its much better and iit actual cares abt its community and the problem with madcity during beta testing thy made non members of the community not test the game thy shuld have picked a few to test all the different mechanics of the game maybe chapter 3 will be amazing we ll see n find out but its pretty sad i grinded 10million bucks just to quite the game and let my progress die off
