I have a pair of Beovox S60s (1975-1976). 4 Way and really nice sound
That would be something I would have to hear in person. Generally, the more you split the signal through a crossover, the more phasing issues you will have. It is generally not a good idea.

I have this speakers and on one of them bas is not working. I am sure that is some issue in transport. Any suggestion?
Search the B&O forums - Beoworld is a place to start. Heard that those woofer-magnets can loosen, and hence damage the coil. But ask the forums, lot of helpful ppl there.

This is actually the S-45-2. Different from the older S-45, which only had 2 cones.
@marcopolo333333 youtube333 There are three - S45 (good - the one in the video), S45-2 (best) and then the newest 1980's (avoid) with split front (two drivers, the others have three).

Нет,это s-45, s-45.2 отличаются,с первого вгляда задней стенкой,и т.д.
Это точно s45 вч динамик без фазовыравнивающей линзы, были такие, замечательные колонки, лучше я пока не слышал.
The construction is out of another time and scale of production... Handmade, heavy duty, doped, damped and modified. Amazing.
B&O used to use Philips parts in loudspeakers, but its hard to tell when they paint over everything!
the tweeter is Philips, midrange is seas and woofer is peerless.

So much for being a "high end" speaker. While the drivers are good, the cabinet construction is questionable and that crossover is horrible. Sloppy solder work throughout. It is as I figured as much with B&O. Granted it seems as if the speakers were better than their other equipment as their electronics are well known to be troublesome and hard to fix. They had more proprietary stuff than Bose and frankly, the systems didn't sound any better than Bose. Now that is the electronics as I have not heard many B&O speakers. The electronics was fancy on the outside, but problematic on the inside. As for the speakers. It is still a gray area for me. I have not heard many in person. The first one I came across, the CX-100, I do like and that one seemed to be nicely built too. But these Beovox speakers don't look to be high end construction. These speakers look like those that you would get with one of those all in one phono / receiver systems that were popular in the 70's! As for the sound, I admit to not hearing these in person. But looking at how these are built is just confirming the outrageous prices that B&O slapped on their products. While Bose is probably just as guilty as cutting corners on construction, their stuff was easier to fix and not as proprietary.
s45-2 version is much more better..
