Jadon Sancho back in Manchester United training after positive meeting with Erik ten Hag

Erik ten Hag held a positive meeting with Jadon Sancho at Carrington this week. Jadon reflected on past issues, and both agreed to draw a line and move on. Jadon has now resumed training as part of the squad. He will not travel to Norway for our friendly against Rosenberg on Monday having resumed training a few days later than others. However, he will be available for selection after that and the focus is now on Jadon taking a full part in pre-season.

If Sancho is coming back it's because no one else wants him. The problem is not just because he insulted his boss, it's because he didn't deliver when he did play. He had a couple of good games for Dortmund, he had a couple of good games for us. That's not good enough. I would like to think that he has woken up to the reality of his position and will now put in the effort needed to justify his place. Don't hold your breath!!

With RVN now an assistant manager, I expect to see an improvement in United’s attacking third. There will be strong competition for places up top:
- Sancho and Rashford on the left;
- Garnacho and Amad on the right
- Zirkzee and Hojlund, central.
If United can also get:
- Spain playmaker Danny Olmo to compete with Bruno for the attacking midfield spot and Ugarte for a holding midfield role
- a new central defender (eg Branthwaite or de Ligt)
THEN all of that would look like the “open heart surgery” that Rangnick said United needed.

ETH is the best manager we've had since Fergie. Man management, tactics, training, discipline and everything inbetween. Steve McClaren isnt his No.2 after ETH been his No2 at FC Twente those few years ago. ETH as ive said from the first pre season friendly in Australia is the best of the upcoming new age managers, imo.
If Jadon can reset his mindset, then he can be a great asset to the team.

If fergie was the gaffer, this kid would've had no chance to disrespect the club. No matter if you arebright or wrong, the team comes first. He clearly showed up what side he's on. What example does that set for younger players coming through. I love jadon but I love my club more.
Think of it like this. ten Hag made it clear that you can strop and moan all you like, if you cross the line and don't apologise and get in line, you'll get dropped. Sancho now apologises and they move on. We can use his talents next season and he can stay or we sell him for a good price, so good for both parties In a way, ten Hag comes out of it looking better.
