So pretty!! I tried making this but when I go in with the diluted paint after the leaf imprint has dried it still smudges. Tried letting it dry for an entire day but still the same happened. Is it the quality of the paper I'm using? Should I be doing this on canvas paper only? help pls 😭

the key to do this is use a lighter shade of blue after each layer, am I right?
Yup. And if you want white background instead, it should be the opposite: use darker shades with each new layer
