Ace's solo when they recorded it was perfect. Tommy basically went for the Chuck Berry vibe. It is the first time I have heard Tommy improvise one of Ace's solos.
Let me know Is easily in my top 5 Kiss songs. Wish they did it live, sharing the lead vocals between Gene and Paul…so good. Unfortunately they rarely split lead vocals in their songs which makes Let me know so special.
I really think these "soundchecks" are better than the actual show. If they would just perform like this it's ok Paul can't hit all the notes. He did fine in this.

Sounds great. KISS doesnt lip sync, they do use backing tracks. But not lip synching. There's a difference.
Paul lip synches. A vocal plays and he moves his mouth. That’s lip synching.
