Only 6's and higher in a short deck. Straight wraps around A-6 and flushes beat full house because of less cards of suit in deck and higher chance to pair up.

The opposite is true, skill differences in Short Deck are way bigger hence short deck yielding far better winrates than NLH. On top of that the game is way harder to solve so there's far more varied playstyles than in NLH.
