@gerrardbutler1212 , This video was recorded just after 08:00 UK time or 3 AM ET on August 5. The markets were under quite a lot of pressure at the time. Now it's 23:15 UK time and the markets have closed for the day in the US. Stocks rebounded from the pre-market levels, gold and silver were hammered and came back somewhat. I think the PPT or the President's Working Group on Financial Markets were very active today and they probably started intervening a few hours after I recorded this. They managed to calm things down but whether they succeed of the next few days is another story. In the last 3 days, when stock prices plunged Retail investors sold $1 Billion. Institutional investors bought +$14 Billion. This is Market manipulation at its finest.
Short term price movement is largely manipulated by market makers and algos (and later justified by ANAL-lyst using bullshit reasons) ... e.g. driving prices down to scare and force weak holders to sell....its like a game of poker... bluff the weak hands to fold their cards so the pros can grab their money and their shares more cheaply.
As smart investors who understand the true value of the underlying business, we never let the current market price guide us into the quality and success of our investments... we allow the market to serve us. I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. I currently have a good amount in savings and checking accounts. I have zero debt. I have a 401K at work, but there's not much in it yet. I opened a Roth IRA last year, I have no idea what I'm doing and need help on what to do and how I can invest some of my savings or checking. Should I hire a financial advisor? I did for the majority of my portfolio. Aside from the fact that I don’t have the time or energy to actively manage my money, they also provide me with extras like creating a will, creating different types of accounts, handling my taxes, insurance advice and procurement, etc. For me it was worth it.

Yea I have some fun money in RH but the big majority is managed by Nancy Magaret Delony. I have scaled to 1.7 in investments and find that she is indeed worth the cost to have in my corner. I think in a bear market she is good at beating the market; in a bull market she lags a bit. But that's the point, I think.

Hi there, you'll enjoy Marios videos, and his deep historical and current knowledge of trading markets, bonds and currency in particular, but also the institutions behind those markets and their manipulation of markets and the public incl all central banks. His primary message, like a number of other commentators of course, is about sound money and the need to have it, hence his advocacy of gold / silver. I guess his message is not to be exposed to those institutions . If I were to pick one video of his that blew my mind it was about The Great Taking a year or so back, reviewing a book by David Rogers Webb. Massively eye opening. The US commercial real estate market seems to be in such a precarious position that it can not withstand any turbulence and will take banks with it. Margin calls that force CRE holders to sell will reveal the fact that there is no underlying value in a lot of the US CRE market.

The next domino to fall with be the Gulf State banks and financials.
Gold is down 2%, and Silver is down 5.5%.
The only investment worse than silver is the miners. I own a lot of both.
Miners are undervalued, fundamentals have not changed. just have to ride this one out. Pick up some more when prices are pushed down further. Timing the market is impossible.
Silver is going after its bottom trend line on the monthly chart, possibly lower.

With the move to 0.25%, the 10y Japanese bond rates have actually fallen. This shows just where the real economy should be minus all the stimulus, helicopter money, QE, etc in Japan too. The Nikkei 225 should probably be around 17,000 and GDP a few points lower than now.

Even with a gold standard they can still manipulate the dollar. All they have to do is manipulate how much gold is in circulation and control the mines, because imagine the market gets flooded with gold or vice versa, its still manipulable, the only right way to do it is to nationalize the dollar by putting people to work and create things we need, like roads, infrastructure, healthcare and all the other things we need as a society to thrive.
