I know this is a bit funny, but do you guys realize that this showcases just how good of an actor he is? I mean he is essentially being an entirely different person and making character traits for that person. I think he is the greatest actor of this generation.
Soul Rebel I've seen all his movies and have never noticed it, but if he does it definitely is never this prominent. This is his ability to give these characters human traits and I have no doubt of that.
@@patrickreilly5158 Basing an actors ability off of academy awards isn't really valid though. Plenty of spectacular performances go unnoticed at those type of things.
Detective Loki was raised in a boy’s home after being taken away by social services because his parents were very abusive, and this upheaval sent him in and out of Juvy - a lot of trauma for a 9-15 year old to go through - the exaggerated blink is part of an anxiety response known as a tic, (very similar to a Tourette’s Syndrome tic, except there are multiple triggers for a TS tic) anxious tics happen when someone is in stressful situations that heighten their anxiety, hence Loki’s tics get worse when he’s caught off guard by yelling/something being thrown, it’s really sad to think about... - but on a side note I love this video, it made the tics seem less traumatising 😂
