    There are two young ladies in the world today who can provide HOPE for humanity because of 'who they are'. A very strong statement and when you get to know them and understand what they stand for your heart will let you know what is going on. The love within them radiates to such a degree they inspire us to be the best we can be as kind, caring and loving human beings. One is a basketball player and the other is a singer. They excel in their chosen professions but it is so much more than that. Please, get to know all about Paige Bueckers and Angelina Jordan. Paige gets as much joy passing a ball off to a teammate for a score as scoring herself. Angelina loves to sing but her real joy is singing for people. Someday they will meet each other and won't that be a special moment!
    Most of you reading this comment know who Paige is but get to know more about her. If you haven't discovered Angelina yet, listen to her sing for you and you will want to know more about her.
    Take care. "You're experiencing life, And you're finding your way. Have love in your heart, To brighten each day!"

    Selfishly, I’m hoping Paige chooses to play two more years at UCONN!!!! She will succeed no matter what she does, but I love college basketball as the epitome of kids playing a kids’ game. It just feels so much more raw and meaningful than the pro game.
    As a MN homer, I’m crossing my fingers for two more years. 😎

    Can't wait to watch her play. Very excited.
    That being said I would like to pass some words on to Amari Berry. That being said I would like to pass some words on to Amari Berry.
    When my youngest son was asked to play pony league baseball he didn't want to, but a friend of mine needed a player to field a team. I believe he was nine. Now I knew nothing of baseball; didn't even like the sport. So I picked up a book put out by Bob Gluck's school of baseball. A book on Tony Gwynn and Ted Williams on batting, plus a book on pitching. Somewhere I had learned about the concept of role modeling, meaning find a person who excels at what you want to do and learn their technique and philosophy Well he got so good he was one of the top batters and pitchers in high school. He excelled from his youth on up. In fact the Giants wanted him as a sophomore. I put yall through that history to underscore the incredible benefit of role modeling; not reinventing the wheel.
    I believe strongly that if Amari would sit down and speak with Edwards about her sophomore slump and how she emerged better than ever it would really help.
    Also if she would have discussions with Jana ElAlfy it could only be beneficial. Jana has been stellar her entire life as a post player in fact she averaged over 28 points and 8 rebounds per game in the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup. Plus her dad is the coach of the Egyptian National Team.
    I really wish Amari the best.

    Year àfter Year, a UConn player has a knee injury. Women's knees aren't meant for basketball. And also I think it's about time they play with a real basketball instead of the smaller lighter handicapped rim friendly women's designed basketball they use. Let them play the game the way it was meant to be played. 12 year old boys play with a real basketball.

    • @mariettedorobis6967

      plenty of women manage to play without knee injuries

    • @user-ob5ek6jj5z
      @user-ob5ek6jj5z Před 8 měsíci

      the ball is not that much smaller and with the hand size of men vs woman the ball actually makes a lot of sense. probably right along why woman play softball and not baseball. why men in tennis serve at 125 and woman in the low 100's. guess you think transtesticles should be allowed to play womans sports. go watch the NBA fkn more boring than golf one pass and watch a guy go 1 on 1. if ya don't like it don't watch it. But I will totally agree with you on the knee thing. woman have more acl tears from playing basketball compared to men and it's at an alarming rate. there knees just are not made for it.

      @@DavidHuston Paige has two more years of eligibility after this one. Her best friend, Azzi Fudd, will be playing as a senior next season. They've only been able to play 15 games together for UConn so far due their many injuries. If Paige plays for an additional season for UConn, she will have another chance to be a part of a UConn national championship team. Paige will likely be more successful with her NIL deals the longer she remains a college player. These are just some of reasons why UConn Husky fans hope Paige stays for at least one additional season.
