I've always thought this. I think the trilogy is criminally under-rated too but for a lot of fans that didn't like the trio then RR was such a return to form. Somewhere Now, Bang Bang, Bouncing Off The Walls and Forever Now are some of the catchiest tunes in their entire discography.
It was a great comeback for green day. But then try screwed it all up with father of all.

It just occurred to me that all of this was filmed at Gilman Street, It must be amazing to be able to revisit the start of your career.
I was there when I visited California last year (I'm German). It was during daytime, and it was completely empty. A shop owner opened it up for me... Just being able to breath this part of East Bay Punk history was amazing for me.
I've always wanted to go (I love in London), I grew up listening to Green Day and it obviously influenced them so much that I would love to go.
Megstuff I live in San Francisco, so 924 is a popular place for my friends and I to go hang out. The punk and metal scene here is still surprisingly alive, despite all of the tech boom and the way it's pushing out creative people in the Bay Area.

you know what I like about Green Day? unlike other punk bands I listen to, they actually look like they enjoy playing music. look at their faces when they play. other bands look like "Im a punk band so i cant show any expression at all."

It is Raj Panjabi instead of John Panjabi. He was basically just jamming with them at the start of the band and never recorded anything with them. You can only say John Kiffmeyer and Tre Cool were the only drummers that contributed anything to the sound of Green Day.

I remember the first time i heard green day, i was just a kid sitting in the back of my mom's car and then all of a sudden she started listening to "Minority". After that day we would listen to it every car ride we took. I've been listening to Green Day all my life and i would love to meet them and shake their hands. Billie is one of the few people that i look up to in life, he was the one that inspired me to become a musician. I greatly respect all of them i hope that they keep making music and making people happy like me. I think I speak for alot of people when i say that you Green Day for giving us your awesome music and thank you for bringing alot of people (including me) a smile to their faces when they heard your music.
Oh, my cousin (who's older than me) has been a fan since before they were famous... And one day she was babysitting me and she started playing them, Poprocks and Coke was the song. I was like five, and I quickly became obsessed with their music, and I've been listening to them for a super long time and I'm proud.
I became obssessed because of Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Holiday. Boulevard of Broken Dreams was shown on mtv or something like that, but I know the music video was shown on tv at some point.

Such a cool venue they shot at, was also where they started playing before they ever got big... 924 Gilman St... seen a few shows there when I used to live in the Bay Area
this is by far the most amazing song and album. I love them so much. they have helped me through the hard times I had gone through in my life. so Green day If you read this, thank you so much for all that you have done for me and your fans. you are by far the best! love you guys!

Everywhere I've ever been in my life since I first heard 'American Idiot' at age 13, whether I was in high school, college, community theater, or at the workplace, I have always been THE number one fan of yours in the room, and videos like this one make me consistently proud to hold such a title, regardless of whether or not anyone around me agrees.
