His sentence was overturned under SB 1437, which prohibited felony murder charges for an accomplice during a robbery or burglary. His accomplice murdered a marijuana dealer during the robbery. Adnan Khan got a new sentence of 3 years for the robbery but served 15 years. His murder charge was removed from his record. Hope he's taking advantage on his new lease on life. God Bless.

Surprisingly prisons are often times a LOT less sketchy than jails. When you're in prison there's really nothing you can do about it. You've been sentenced and you've just gotta do your time. When that hits you you really kinda calm down and hunker down to deal with it. The problem with jail is that there's such a high turnover and reception. You get those people that are in for two months to a year and then they're back out so there's a much bigger market for contraband and gang activity in jail.
I was in level 4 jail a few months back as a sex offender. I'm white and everyone else black. Nobody hurt me, nobody attacked me. I felt comfortable there during my 5+ month stay. I got bored so I bonded out. The foods good, but the re-runs on TBS was killing me

THIS PRISON WAS DESIGNED TO HOUSE 3909 INMATES, WHEN I WAS THERE , 5700+ WERE THERE IN 2006. i HAD ACCESS TO DAILY RECORDS OF TRANSFERS, VOLUME, MOVEMENTS THROUGHOUT THE PRISON. I GUESS THINGS HAVE IMPROVED SINCE I WAS THERE. GOOD....HOPE THE FOOD HAS IMPROVED.

I belive its 5 tiers high maybe 6 lots of places to get stabbed and no cameras. It was cracking when I did a year violation. Lockdown most of the time. You can go insane on lockdown the cells are tiny
What color jump suits did the inmates have? Reception is San Quentin I’ve heard is ransacked and disgusting. Reception wears orange is why I’m asking. Mainline is blue and when I was there for 9 months it was actually better than the previous prison. Other than the black mold on all of the ceilings 😅
The only thing I liked about San Quentin was the sos and the weather was cool . Most joints are out in the middle of nowhere and hot as hell. Also the murals in the chow hall showed history. And it was easier to pass thing's through the bars

I have driven by that prison many many times they did not give you a clear view. It's actually a very beautiful prism to drive by. My big little bro did two and a half years there. Non-violent crime. No drug charges that's amazing. He's charged with Grand Theft. He have a little bit of troubles in their. He called me from the Payphone One Day he said s*** is going sideways. You say you call up stairs they're going to f****** Meetup and there are no guard. I called up there to look at a split toe my information very quick. He said then less than three minutes there will be guards. He stayed on the phone with me and walked me through everything that was going on. Yeah my bro had to go to segregation for a while. But he was an examplatory inmate. He's never been back to prison. He has 18 year old son. He has been clean off drugs for over 18 years. I couldn't be more proud. I wish that video have been longer much love to everybody

This is very very cool, but I'm honestly shocked this was allowed. I'm sure you were only allowed to film certain areas but from a security standpoint (which should obviously be priority number ONE for a prison) this is unacceptable and Dangerous.
