I live in new York and have the hardest time finding a barber I can trust that understands taking care of my beard. I've been growing it for two years that's a long time of dedication and patience to grow it out and then have a barber not understand and chop your shit up.. Super frustrating

She did you right bro!!! My question to her , in regards to using Shears and Clippers...clippers is more for the bulk of the beard ? Because i use Shears to cut my ends and get the unruly...but if my beard has been growing(after weeks of seeing a barber) that’s when the clippers need to be applied ?
Use shears for daily/weekly maintenance. Clippers cause split ends and should only be used for bulk cutting as you mentioned.

I have a female barber too. They, not no joke. She be hooking me up. Razor lineup, sometimes black liner for the beard and I do mean sometimes. Too much of the black beard liner ain't good. I just tried it out last Thursday. The first time she put it in my beard. So, I'm not shocked by how this turned out!...
Edit: The only difference is she doesn't be putting anything in my beard as she does him. That was a hell of a cut. Beard Gang!!!!💪💪👊
