- In 2022, Glastonbury Festival returned to Worthy Farm after a 3 year break due to the coronavirus pandemic. In this video we will show you as much of the site as possible, what we got up to, how we managed to get to the festival and everything else inbetween.
We start with a short look back at the last few years and how we made it to this point in Glastonbury history. In 2020 the festival did not take place, and we all took part in Glasthomebury in various ways, from camping in the garden to mini indoor festivals. In 2021, we watched live from Worthy Farm on the global livestream, and went camping on the site for Worthy Pastures, a truly unique experience.
In 2022, we are volunteering on site for Oxfam. Our usual method of entry via working at the silent disco was not to be this year, so we signed up to work for our ticket. This was x3 shifts checking people in and out of the site. In our time off we walked an insane amount around the festival to try and capture as much as possible.
There was always going to be stuff that got missed due to place and time, and being exhausted! However, this video is showing an insight into areas you may not usually see, or have been too, there were certainly new places for us!
From the Pyramid Stage, to the new look Silver Hayes, the Other Stage, the return of the spider at Arcadia, The Park, Glastonbury-on-Sea, Strummerville, the Stone Circle, the night time delights of the SE Corner, West Holts, Theatre and Circus, Williams Green and way more!
Focusing in on each area this video is giving a snapshot of some of the stages, things we saw and what each section of the site looks like.
As mentioned we volunteered for Oxfam and you can see more about that here

Great review - worth watching - thanks for showing what the BBC always ignores!
Thankyou so much!
Great video which covered so many of the stages
I played the underground piano bar! Found a green lefty guitar from Ireland i used. Played the last sunrise back a few years! The rumor? Someone who started Glastonbury 50 years ago. That would be his favorite spot at the whole festival!
That’s amazing you got to play there! We will get there sometime I’m sure
Loved that! Thanks so much - a great insight :) x
Thanks Jake, appreciate it
Wow incredible review! I’ve been looking into trying to go this next year and have been watching many videos, but this one does the best job of showing off the festival as a whole. Thank you!
That’s amazing to hear! Thankyou. Hope you get to go next year
Love this
Nice video buddy 👍🏻
The Piano bar is in the woods near the stone circle, opened really late on the last night, is worth a visit.
I knew it was near there! Really need to find it next year!!!
What occurs at the Piano Bar?

Finally a bit of intelligence with a festival vlog - thank you! This is cool
Thankyou Toby! We definitely had fun (and a lot of walking) making this one
Nice vlog... I did wonder as I watched if you were going to miss out the Glade. I run the stewards on that area so always hope it looks good and everyone has an amazing time there too!
The crew bars are a great chanced to escape the madness.
Thanks Steve, the Glade was awesome this year, big shout to you and the team for keeping everyone safe, well and supported!
@@TravelBubble Thanks. It was great being back and with our new setup too. Thursday was so busy, the busiest ever!
Glad you guys had a good festival.

Such a lovely comment! Thanks so much we love sharing our adventures. We will keep at it for sure
nice vid :)
Hope you enjoy! What areas would you like to see more off? Anything we missed out for next time?
Everything that the BBC does not show or feature
Glastonbury is so big. You could have added Rimski's Yard, Lizard Stage, Toad Hall, Cineramagedon, Avalon Cafe, Accoustic, Bimble Inn, Crows Nest and many others!
The Food areas showing the varied range and the prices?
Glastonbury festival really does have everything. I bet the people who live there absolutely dread it
Are you guys there this year??
Hi Jennifer!! Yes we are 🙂 We managed to get a place volunteering with WaterAid…I’ve never been so excited to be cleaning toilets!! Are you going this year?
Are you back this year?
Yes we are!!! Managed to get a place volunteering with WaterAid! Never been so happy to be cleaning toilets!!!
@@TravelBubble Awesome. I'm back at the Glade again. Have a good festival, hopefully it won't be too messy for you! hehe
Your shot of the band stand is not the band stand!
Oops! I guess with a site so big and so many’s stages there is more than one ‘bandstand’… We will have to find the actual one next time!!
@@TravelBubble The stage you've listed as the Bandstand is at Croissant Neuf, the actual Bandstand is in the market areas, if you draw a triangle from Pyramid/Williams Green/Leftfield you'll see it on the map.
It's getting more and more like Butlin's every year.
Glastonbury isn't Glastonbury anymore. It should now be renamed Wokenbury. It's nothing like it was many years ago. Woodstock, even back in the day, would put this modern attempt at a festival to shame. All get in line, get searched, make sure you're paying enough money. It's been sanitised to hell. Those that go there nowadays 'think' the've been to a carefree festival. They've never lived.
