- We find hundreds of big clams in waist deep water in the Niantic River in Connecticut! We use a special clam rake to rake them out of the mud! I then meet you back in my kitchen in Florida to have a seafood boil! Where we cook up clams, lobsters, shrimp, and a bunch of other stuff! Easy and fun meal to have with family and friends!

Awww, this video is awesome! It has grandma in it. So many great times you’ve shared with us where grandma was present. I miss her with her crab traps. Continue to Rest In Peace grandma and know that us viewers miss you too.❤️🤗
Love the family dinners. Your grandmother is so sweet.
This was my favorite episode not only raking clams but having cookouts with your whole family.Just Awesome and very special!
I like Brook's energy, she seems really kind but down to earth.
I love how soft spoken your mom is! I feel like I can never see her angry haha
Plain and simple down to earth Brook that loves what she does Can't ask for much more. Victor you're a very lucky man.
I think Brook did so well. I love how you cook and catch and clean all your meals and your always having family time. That’s amazing
I love that you show how to cook after you fish. But was expecting clam chowder although my mouth watered to eat this. Thanks!
Such a huge fan of you!!! Your passion for what you do delivers hope and inspiration to others. We only have lakes in Tennessee and with you I feel like I am on the ocean. Bless you and your wonderful family.
Raking is hard work. More fun in the summer to stomp the mud and pick them up when you feel one with your feet. Used to do that in Southern NJ.
Brook et al, takes me back several decades to a clam bake on the beach. As young teen that clam bake impressed me for life. Still mouthwatering. Best
Mom Mom is my favorite character from your channel her love is so unique May her soul live on
I just watch the video of your visit to my State. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit us. Love your channel.
Just saw that your grandmother passed away....so sorry. I always enjoyed seeing her on your videos. I loved that she still enjoyed crabbing. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Brook & Viktor, what a wonderful video and your beautiful and wonderful family always loving your cooking. This looked delicious! Yum, Yum!!! 😋 Glad you went home and bought the clams and all for this family boil. What a blessing you are to your family.
Wow. That looks so good. Just got done eating dinner and my mouth is watering looking at all that. Awesome job brooke
Seeing someone use Old Bay outside of Maryland is literally the best thing in the world. I love these catch and cooks and recipes 💕
I’m in new haven and I didn’t know we have that but I’m here to support you
First time watching and I love Brook she catches, cook and knows what she’s doing when cooking with her family 👏🏻👍
Great video. Family get together like this is priceless.
I love this video. Seafood boil is one of the memories I made for my family. I don't live near the sea so had to get everything from the store. Oh so good and fun for the family. Yum! Good job Brooke!
i said this before, but its nice to see these videos where u travel and try new things..brings good variety to this great channel!
Being land locked, we always love a good boil missing some crawfish and mussels but it really does look fantastic and yummy. Love the videos from you and vic !!!
Love you and vicks channels ! Keep up the great work and most importantly stay safe out there !
Wow! This type of vlog is what i really like. Natural and relaxing.
My wife is currently in Niantic visiting friends. I worked as a contractor at the Millstone Nuclear Plant for 13 yrs. Great area. Charter a trip with Capt Kerry on the JB Tackle boat for an epic trip. Don’t miss going to The Oar on Block Island for lunch.
Dig that area & food ... did a few tours on the turbine deck at Millstone myself
She is made for the camera 🎥 very easy to watch and listen. Cool vid
I can say literally that I've watched all of Viks and your videos. Found you first but took of with Viks channel until I reached where you started to do vids and just started to go back and forth between you guys and boy I can say I've learned so much by watch both of you guys cook. Your first clam Brook was a cherrystone !!Steamers are softshell clams you dig at low tide in the sand and mud !!!Did it all my life ...and welcome to ct. !!😃😃😃
A little trick from a Cajun Chef Here. Bay Leafs are awesome in any boil. About 6 big ones in that pot. Looks delicious 😋
Whilst watching you rake, I realised, that I was sitting completely still, because I didn’t want you to lose your great spot. 🤣🤣🤣 and I’m salivating.

It's Sunday 2/25/24, I woke up really early and fell back to sleep to dream about clamming. So, I Google to look for the video to see the location I dreamt about. The 1st video was not it. Then this video with this river in Connecticut a place I have never heard of. I will be watching to see what becomes of this place in the future on the news. I will document this in my journal to note this entry. Enjoyed the video.

Got 2 bones to pick with you Brookie.
1) I DIDN'T GET MY INVITE
2) Grandma needs to be on camera more. We love her and your family. They all are a blessing..thanks for sharing...
I hope you and family try cooking up some of those large snails sometime as it's good bi-catch to make use of. You might get hooked. And with your ability to find, alter and create great recipes you'd hone in on a few ways to enjoy. Escargot with garlic cheese and more. My step dad was Scottish and loved to buy 'Winkles' from the market, cook a large batch then soak em in the brine in the fridge overnight. We would all have a bowl ful the next day and use sewing pins to remove the foot then remove the snail from the shell. It was alot of fun. I brought a container full to school for show and tell and handed everyone pins to try the snails. Everyone was properly grossed out, then ALL tried them and most enjoyed them. I miss those days.
I love clams, mostly from Oregon and specifically Raisor clams. Great video you make the best
I love watching y'all videos. Even though I don't like clams I still would want to learn so I can make it for family members... thank you for sharing 💖💜💚💛💙💖💜💚💛💙

Hello stay safe. Careful thank you for sharing this wonderful video 💖

So much fun Brook!!! You are awesome. I told my husband I would enjoy fishing with you guys. Would be my first time. I love seafood. Elisa
I love you and your family. Thanks for your videos
New subscriber here😊❤️ love this one, not just because of the effort on catching clams, but how beautiful your family shared the food together 😍😍😍
The only easy way I have found to "bring my clams" with me after a vacation stay has been to steam them, then take the open mostly cooked clams and freeze them and use the broth you just steamed them in as the liquid. Make basically a clam ice block and you can bring your catch with you. But the down side is it limit what you can do with them later. We mostly eat them raw they day we catch them or make chowder if we cook them. Good video, really shows the workout that clamming is. Keep it up you two.
You guys are amazing.
Brook we will get along well I love doing that catching clams back home every time I go home that's the first thing I do but we have to wait till the tides go low, we lives by the beach ,yes it's fun doing that I would be doing that all day long. Thanks for sharing

I never thought I would ever catch you in ct! This is so cool!
I grew up on the Niantic River ! The clamming is still very good there. The smaller clams are the best, great for clams casino ! Open the live clam, drop on garlic, chunks of red bell peper, crushed Ritz cracker, butter and top with par cooked bacon....bake for 12 minutes at 400F. Heaven !!! Thanks for the video !
Do you mind sharing where you guys clamming?
Hi Brook. It is so nice to watch you and your family enjoying clam for a dinner. I have been watching your and Victor's videos for quiet sometime now and i must say I enjoyed it very much. I am from the Philippines and i was watching you and your family eating the clams, etc on the table, i was reminded of the way we eat that way back here in the Philippines especially when we are with our friends or families. We call it a Booodle fight way of eating. We would cook variety of food and after which we will set it on top of the table and we all eat standing with our bare hands, and i guarantee we enjoyed it. 😊 You can watch thru the net and learn how it is prepsred. Enjoy❤
Good morning brook you are doing a great job i love that one day I will go fishing with you guy's
Anything that’s worth it comes with great effort.❤
i've gone clamming in that same river as a kid so cool!
Love when you vids pop up !! Great stuff
This looks like fun and I'd love to be able to do something like this, but just watching them raking in the mud makes my back hurt! The joys of getting old. 😆
We're on the opposite side of the country, but I learned over the last few weeks that we have the most productive lobster fishery on the entire west coast (Santa Barbara, CA.) I grew up fishing the waters there and had no idea.
i live over here too and i didnt know that
OMG! Im craving😊😊😊seafoods mukbang love it💙
