You missed a mention of the Buster Sword. In FFIX, Zidane comes across a sword which looks just like the Buster Sword hanging in a shop. He comments on how it must have been wielded by a good warrior.

One of my fav things that FF7R did was balance the game weapons so that even the buster sword is totally viable by the end. In fact, it might even be the best weapon for cloud overall when fully upgraded. This ensures you can play thru the game with his iconic blade and it'll appear in all cut scenes and chapters legitimately if you wish

The thing about Masamune is that, although it wasn't a kitana in the case I am mentioning, was the name of the legendary blade that Frog wields in Chrono Trigger. The Buster Sword is undoubtedly THE most iconic weapon in the franchise. Even people who've never played FF or have next to zero knowledge of the games recognize the Buster Sword. I'd even say at this point it's among the most iconic of all swords throughout Japanese media along with the Kusanagi/Murakumo, the Dragonslayer, and the Moonlight Greatsword.

Lightning doesn't use Zantetsuken. If you take a look at Lightning Returns you'll see the weapons' actual name. Gagnrad. It doesn't even look like Zantetsuken, and it's the same weapon she uses in the first FFXIII game.

Missed a few with the buster sword... Like in 12 with Gilgamesh wielding a replica saying "fake" in Japanese... Fake or not it's still a replica... Also the buster sword has numerous variations in the mobile gacha games that each represent it's life and history with details changing slightly to obvious differences... Definitely needs to be looked at as you don't get to see the details easily in most games like the gacha mobile games give you

No. 9, then later, Aya, as a battle bonus loot, wielded a gun-functioning, Gunblade.
Though it uses 12 Shotgun Shells (likely an allusion to the 12 Pulse Ammo needed in the original game) When triggered with the sword slash, depending on the ammo used, damage is between 600-2000 HP
The gun part alone deals damage between 30-120 HP.
Sword slash alone deals about 100 HP.
