  • I solo sailed my 28'BCC up the Inside Passage to Petersburg, Alaska and back down to Gig Harbor, Washington. It was fantastic trip that I would love to do again. I would take a drone, and 4k camera for some more stunning images and video. Enjoy!

Saving up for that exact boat. Two more years and I am out there.

If that’s a loose footed main you should think about not tying those middle reef cringles around the boom. Just roll the sail up and tie above the boom. I don’t think they are reenforced enough for the tension. It would also be easier to flatten the main as well. Nice boat.

Great to see your videos again. I discovered your series about 5 or 6 years ago. I think it was a 5 part series from Gig Harbor to St Petersburg and back. Could you please upload them again, I would love to see them again. I watched them when I was living in Iowa. Now I'm in Washington, I hope to be living the dream soon.

I hope all is well with you and your family, Rick. I used to watch and rewatch your videos back when you sailed up to Alaska. It was like therapy to me, or meditation.

Hi from Feb2021. Family and I are all well. JUNESSA has been dry for past few years due to my crazy job. Hoping to put her back in the water this spring and make more videos. Thanks for watching.

Hi Rick, I just bought a BCC 28 myself. I'd like to know a bit about your hard dodger.

thanks for the video, love your boat. The hard dodger looks comfortable and a great place for some solar panels though shaded by the boom too much. What is the large cylinder behind the tiller? An autopilot? looks very stout! Whisker pole makes Junessa into a downhill racer!
Fair Seas and hope you're back in the water now.
