    My chassis front end is set up in a way that front grip is maximised at the most frequent angle, not edge cases of full lock. Upside - stability at that angle, downside - wish me luck handling the car at a very high angle at low speed

    Maybe a video on esc tuning (rpx2)? Great video👍

    • @SHREDDITRC
      @SHREDDITRC  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Been a while since I’ve gotten a yok esc. Normally I only run hobbywing. But esc tuning is somewhat universal just depends on the quality of the firmware to provide you that fine feel. I will get to that soon just watching the view count on the vids to determine the next batch of vids

    I have a question, my front is sagging when I add everything on, do I need to stiffen up my front coils?

  • @kosasihjames

    What is the best current/your favourite knuckle to use?

    • @SHREDDITRC
      @SHREDDITRC  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Currently it’s gotta be the reve’d Super light. With the KPI adjustment for that comp style front end. My second choice would be the Wrap up next GX knuckle with the KPI adjustment plate. That would be a better choice in terms of how much I can tune. Off the rip the reve’d knuckle feels the best and is actually used the most in Japan along with the yokomo counterpart.

      @@SHREDDITRC thanks for your fast answer... Which ReveD knuckle is it? ASL or SG? i guess ReveD Super light is the ASL right?

    Hey bro you got any fixes to small amounts of slop in the steering? As in it has a small gap that allows for low tension movement.. using yokomo with slide rack.. I heard it can be fixed with a spacer?

    • @SHREDDITRC
      @SHREDDITRC  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Using spacers on a slide rack is for Ackerman adjustment, and possibly limit slop on your lead wheel. I’d play around with spacers, and your servo horn linkage to promote better movement. ( this is the angle of the link from servo horn-> rack mounting point ) this can be limiting movements and thus causing slop. If it’s not any of these recheck your build construction of the slide rack. Yokomo has directional bearings for proper tension on the slide rack to function properly.

      @@SHREDDITRC sweet as I'll have a play with it.. it doesn't cause any issues when driving (none that are noticeable). But I could probably assume it does create some micro vibrations that I can't see.. cheers bud

    • @SHREDDITRC
      @SHREDDITRC  Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@ricky4682 on the track you won’t really feel anything as we don’t drive with full angle. I personally don’t run steering stoppers, just to use every bit of steering throw. I’ve set my front end for that type of setting but it’s not for everyone, I’m always going fast and throwing big angle and that’s why I have it set up like that.

    Good shit dude! Just a pointer tho, pls boost ur output volume, its REALLY low, and the damn commercials fukin blow speakers lmao.

    • @SHREDDITRC
      @SHREDDITRC  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Yea idk why it does that….I do the editing on my phone and so I’m always around 50% volume as a bae line. But ima have to keep that in mind. lol 😂

      @kingnorlen Před 10 měsíci

      Got it, its better to edit on the pc, there u can keep track of the db levels and shieeet. I suggest Sony Vegas, very simple program which is also used in many professional edited thingies. Worth a try :) Subbed btw, happy friday!@@SHREDDITRC

    Hi ! Got a question, my chassis has a super grippy, stable front end, the rear is not that much, it’s quit got a kind of it’s own and doesn’t have the great stability feeling the front give when driving.
    What would you recommend taking a look/play with ? Thanks in advance !

    • @SHREDDITRC
      @SHREDDITRC  Před 8 měsíci

      Yoo sorry for the super late response haha BUT it sounds like you need to adjust rear ride height. Minimum should be around 5mm. This allows for the best chance of grip mechanically and also esc tune can be an issue aswell.
