I swear man, James gives his fucking all in every performance. As a lifelong drummer myself, I can admire this dudes dedication to his work. I’m not claiming he’s one of the greats of all time, but he’s talented as hell.

For a band like this they certainly would not. Bands like Buddy Clyro have extra live members but not even they do it as a ‘just in case’ they actually play extra pets to enlarge the sound and play extra layers which are on the record. They are using backing tracks heavily in this performance, I’m not saying they aren’t playing as well. You can tell with the harmonised guitar later being prevalent in the mix when Ben isn’t playing that they’ve just covered him with a backing track.
