- Join brothers Tom & Mark Malkowicz for a backcountry float along one the Ozark's most Wild & Scenic rivers. These guys are true adventurers, and over the years when they were not travelling the world or climbing mountains, they perfected the art of long distance float trips on their beloved Ozark streams.
These rivers hold diverse fish species. Plentiful wild rainbow trout reside in the cold water portions in closer proximity to large springs, but downriver warm water fish species dominate. Overnight backcountry float trips are truly the best way to experience the Ozarks, and it is easy to see why! We hope you enjoy the sixth Ozarks on the Fly, "WILD & SCENIC". #BluffLineMedia #OzarksontheFly

Great video and editing. I really enjoyed watching. I would love to do a fishing trip like that and camp right next to the river. Wow! Thanks for the incredible video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great stuff!
Killer work gents!
WildFlyProductions thanks! Back at you!
These videos have really made me feel the need to go out fishing as much as I can
You guys are awfully brave setting up your tent 2-4 inches above the water line lol. Great video and masterfully done!
😂 We watched the water levels closely, and knew they were dropping. It was getting late. I definitely would recommend camping at an elevated position away from the water line to those who are less experienced. Thanks!
came here to say exactly this!
I moved from Missouri to Washington State years ago and while there are many things I do not miss about Missouri (tornados, ice storms, Cambodia-like humidity, etc.) I do miss some of the rivers and streams. I've had countless days in wild places like the North Fork, Eleven Point and Crane that are cherished memories. Thanks for the refresh, as much as I love mountain climbing and steelheading I need to make a trip back and visit some old friends.
You’re very welcome! Yes, do definitely do need to make time for a visit! Thanks
Awesome film. I think this is my favorite one so far! Thank You for doing these.
Chris Huddleston Appreciate it, Chris!
You guys are awesome thanks for what you do.
Good stuff fellas! Keep up the good work.
Eric Leslie Thanks, Eric!
Great video!!
Strong work from blufflinemedia again!!! I love this episode. Great story line. Beautifully shot. Awesome water!!
NotMissingLink 🤙🏼🤙🏼
That bote looks stable.
I'm fishing from a Saturn Kaboat currently. This is beautiful water thanks for sharing
Nice, brings back some wonderful memories I have from the Eleven Point River. It truly was healing waters for me. I recognize many of the places. Thanks for adding the camping scenes, the little patches I'd pitch my tent were special places.
Joseph Curry It’s an amazing place for sure! Glad you enjoyed it!
Keep up the good work, great video!
MOswimb8slinger will do! Thanks
I had the pleasure of floating the Gasconade last summer for a Mo-Yak tournament. 9 hour float from Schilitz Springs to the 17 bridge. Had a blast with my buddy, caught lots of bass and won the Big Bass pot with a 21.25" largemouth.
My busy life doesn't allow for a lot of river trips, but I do enjoy them very much when I get to go on one. Reminds me of all the wade fishing I did in the creeks around Taney County when I was younger.
You guys deserve wayyyyyyy more subscribers. Keep it up!
PugCamper we’re patient:) thanks!!
Brilliant video and well made! Eleven Point is a new discovery for me and this is thanks to your channel. Can't wait to YAK fish and camp for several days/nights along this beauty...
Beautifully done, amazing?
K Squared Fishing thanks, bud!
Excellent video guys. we got the privilege of fishing the ozarks last year. Such an awesome fishery!
Glad y’all made it! We feel lucky:)
first one to view. awesome. was waiting for this
Sam Iam Heck yeah! Thanks
VERY nice video!! I saw this video posted on the VANLIFE facebook page. I live in Branson and I'm currently building a camper van for the wife and I. GREAT trout fishing here on Taneycomo!! Keep up the good work guys. I just subscribed and I'm looking forward to your next video.
bransontom1 very cool! I didn’t know they shared it! Really appreciate the support!!
At 7:30, is that Greer Springs?
What camera setup was used to film this? Quality looks awesome!!
Fuji X-T3 mainly. All the camera info is listed in the description. Thanks!
Beautifully shot! The colors and framing are stellar. What is your favorite aspect of the Fuji system?
Thanks, man! While I do wish it was full frame.. It's compact, great dynamic range and video features while still being great for stills. The slo-mo is awesome! Few cameras do both stills and video so well.
Bluff Line Media Fuji colors are awesome. I shoot with the LUMIX G9 but love what Fuji presents. I guess you guys are mainly shooting 8 bit and 60 p unless interviewing?
@@scottmorgason 10 bit (I think) at 60 or 120fps and yeah, 4K at 24fps for interviews. I wish I could film it all in 4K, but the files are just too large.
Bluff Line Media looks great anyway and you can’t tell not in 4K especially after CZcams compression. I’m in NW Arkansas and trying to get better at cinematography as well. Your stuff is fantastic and on point! Keep it up. Blessings!
How did you go about getting license to film and run a drone in ONSR?
We called and asked permission and it was granted.
What rivers? Where are you, on the trips depicted here?
Gary Blunk 11pt
Bluff LINE Media Thank you. I live in Seymour, MO, just a couple hours away. Gotta visit there. It’s as pretty as the trout streams back home (Colorado)
What time of year was this trip?

Diego Deolindo Fishing muchos gracias!
Catch and release is so boring...I wanna see some delicious fish cooked up
😄 we feel you, but conservation is important to us. We may cook up a fish in a film one day!
I love the scenery and the fishing. Sadly, you both talk way too much.
