Portland & Western Freight Trains (Jan. - Feb. 2021)

- Here is a collection of clips I've gathered over the course of the past two months of various Portland & Western Railroad freight trains. This footage was primarily shot along the OE (Oregon Electric) and Willsburg districts of the P&W. Locations include Tonquin Hill, Tualatin, Tigard, Beaverton, Lake Oswego, Milwaukie, and SE Portland. Trains featured are the OE Express, Hillsboro Switcher, Albina Local, and 663/664. Please note that the clips are in order by milepost and general location, not by date or time-of-day.

When are you going to capture more Freight Trains in Beaverton Oregon?
Not for the forseeable future. I actually no longer live in Oregon. I moved out at the end of March.

Awesome catch! How do you keep your shots stable?
I used a tripod for most of these shots.
@@EvergreenRailVideo oh I know...I'm mostly talking about how do you keep them stable from the vibrations of the trains?
@@TrainsNStuff not sure. I just try to make sure that my tripod is in a level and stable area where there's minimal vibration. It also helps to have a camera with some sort of steadying feature in the programming.
