1:10 A fight like this was exactly what i was expecting from the first boss: a highly mobile tank that showed us what a MS is fort the enemies in the game, while also being huge as a true boss should be and taking advantage of it's size. No bullet hell No invincibility bs Just the right amount of health to make it challenging but not impossible nor boring.
i love how fast and well done going this fangame.. congratulations for the speed on it! and i still recomending this fangame to everyone i find that was a metal slug fan. ;)
Oh god that transition into Mission 3. So goooood. If I could offer some suggestions: Make item drops in the second phase of the mission 3 boss bounce around like in the second boss battle. That or reduce the boss' health, for a war machine so damaged that it's entered free fall it seems to take a lot more damage then when it was working properly. Feel free to let it keep it all super fast though!
my opinion of boss 3: the climbing sound effect and animation should stick to the original MS5, the new animations make it look a little bit too light weigh and lose the feeling of an actual level boss, and so does the commander's sound. idk but maybe adding some shaking screen will fix the problem about bossly feelings. also the whole freefall part looks quite meaningless and ... boring? maybe add some more boss attacks other than flying fireballs or let the commander come out for his last stand against player? Finally, can you add a parachuting animation in the ending screen like MS7 mission 4? it will let the transitioning between missions look smoother, convincing and most importantly, cool. i know i might be asking a lot, but this is a game i really want to see it be great and you've done a great job making the 1st boss really a bossly beast

Im totally amazed by the quality this game seems to have, I LOVE your work man! the new reworked bosses are amazing, keep it up! Like someone in here already said, this shows how much wasted potential MS5 had (even though its my 2nd favorite MS game). The game mechanics seems to be really well made and spot on too, love it. Only thing I would suggest (or ask?) is: is this in the hardest dificulty? because the enemy proyectiles move way quicker than ever, is there a way to make them slower? Just in case I dont wanna frustrate the hell out of me when playing, haha. I love the challenge of the boss battle, but it would be nice if theres an option to make them slower (boss proyectiles at least). Again, amazing work, keep it up! BTW, I love the new sprites of the character holding the 2H while flying, it should have been in the game really.

I think this new difficulty looks pretty cool and adds a new and interesting challenge for those who are veterans at this series!
It would have been great to see the second boss plane crashing into a building of the city or just falling and make the scren white for 2 seconds meaning that it was a huge explosion!!! Pd: These remake is a master piece. while I really like a lot of your design choices like free fall for the third boss, and the first boss being on a different height, I feel a lot of the ai stuff is just a bit too difficult compared to actual metal slug boss ai
