5 Parduc P40: Adjusting the wheel's maximum height
5.1 Move the carrier into the home position by pressing the MOVE TO HOME POSITION -button
5.2 Set the skate on the skate holder. Move the carrier to the left, until the grinding wheel is next to the front tip of the skate
5.3 Unscrew the grinding wheel max. height thumb nut
5.4 Adjust the max height by rotating the thumb screw
5.5 The grinding wheel's max height goes down, when rotating clockwise. By rotating Counterclockwise the wheel goes up
5.6 Notice that too high grinding wheel position leads to premature wearing on the tip of the skate runner. Too high wheel position also generates unwanted loads to the sharpener
5.7 When you are satisfied with the max. height, tighten the lock thumb nut.
5.8 Move the carrier into the home position by pressing the MOVE TO HOME POSITION -button.
