I'm from Egypt and I can confirm the "sugaring" tip. We still use it till this day instead of waxing, it lives the skin softer and brighter and less inflamed. It takes from 2 to 3 weeks for the hair to start growing back. True it hurts less than waxing but still painful though
Fun fact: the reason milk and cream is so good for your skin is because lactic acid is a gentle chemical exfoliant. Honey isn't necessarily moisturizing, but acts as a humectant to retain natural moisture, making it perfect for people with oily skin.
Well at least you dont get red all the time. It looks really bad and fair skinned people tend to get red very easy so fair skin is not that great ( im lucky tho since im warm toned so i dont get red like my friends)
The cabbage leaves part is true. Tried and tested. After i lost my baby just 3 days after he was born i experienced immense pain in my breast and cabbage leaves really helped me with the pain and also dried up some of the milk.
Omg when I was 16 I had a baby and I gave her up for adoption, the doctor told me to put cabbage leaves on my breasts so the engorged beasts would go down and not cause me as much pain. It worked and I would take soaked cabbage leaves out of my bra. It would stink so bad and I can't even eat cabbage now. The father of the child I gave up for adoption and I ended up getting married years later and had 3 more kids! Although then after 10 years of marriage we got a divorce. The child we gave up for adoption contacted us earlier this year when she turned 18, and wanted to come be with her "real" family. Been living with us for several months now and fits right in, loves having her siblings. Odd adoption story because her siblings are full blood siblings. But yeah, the cabbage got me through after the adoption breast engorged pain for sure!!!
Mint and Áloe Vera is really good for the skin. I always had sensitive skin and it turns super red when I'm under the sun(and yes, I have tried UV protection, but it gives me allergy) So mix mint with aloe made my skin cool and it didnt hurt so much after a few minutes
I use coconut oil on my hair and on my body right after a nice warm shower. I put the oil on the ends of my hair and do not rinse it out. However if I accidentally put to much in my hair then I will rinse. Also using the oil as moisturizer right after your shower works great on your skin and hair. I am going to absolutely try sugaring. thanks for the tips.
ChocoCaramel Europeans only started to develop white skin after 2000 years ago so she could not have been pale. White people are actually a very new edition to humanity.
Hi to people scrolling down the comments. I just wanted to tell you that you don't need these beauty hacks to look beautiful or look like your favorite celebs. You are beautiful and stunning, so be yourself love yourself. I hope this made you smile, and 1 like cause today is 28th April, which is Melanie Martinez's birthday too! 😊
I Love this line.....""I just wanted to tell you that you don't need these beauty hacks to look beautiful or look like your favorite celebs. You are beautiful and stunning, so be yourself love yourself. "" You encouraged people to be themselves...
I totally used the cabbage leaves after having my kids! Totally worked! Olive oil is great for sores too. Helps to heal and moisturize at the same time.
LOL OMG I already knew about the cabbage leaves trick. imagine the look on my face when I was home resting, a new mother of two weeks, happy and proud of my new beautiful bundle of joy. Everything was fantastic except for the heaviness and agonizing pain in my boobies. imagine the look on my face when my mother in law walked into the house with a grocery bag and a cabbage in each hand, and turned to me saying, "Honey have I got something for YOU!" I think my right eyebrow is permanently higher than my left because of that day.
I watched a doc. about Cleopatra a while ago, and I could have sworn they said the myth of her breathtaking visage was just that - a myth, and it seems she was no great beauty after all, but that her lively personality, shrewd business sense, and uncanny aptitude for manoeuvring political power-grabs more than made up for it.
hanan sweety she was actually mixed Macedonian Greek and Egyptian. You can google it and plenty of research and credible sources. Her father was Macedonian Greek but their bloodline had been in Egypt for 300 years so there was surely intermixing and her mother was of mixed ancestry.
Fun fact Cleo wasn't as beautiful as everyone said they only give her the goddess like beauty because that was the only way her power was taken seriously
I work in a Mother/Baby unit. I've seen nurses get cabbage leaves from the kitchen to put on new moms who are breastfeeding. Most of the time their milk comes in about 2-3 days but, occasionally we see moms who are blessed with an abundant milk supply that comes in early. They really help with the soreness.
Emmy Engström she was not very beautiful, you’re right. But her intelligence, wit, and her mastery of the art of seduction was what made her “the siren of the East”.
Actually, it is about the cabbage leaves! They are full of phytonutrients, vitamins, anthocyanins, and glutamine that contain anti-inflammatory properties.
there is no such thing as pesticide free... . unless you grow it yourself. if someone claims that it is is only means they don't use as much. same with anything claiming to be organic. it is just a marketing tool. so why pay more?
It's not as much about personal health as it is about the environment. By using less pesticides (and consumers favoring organic), it causes less chemical and environmental damage...
There are organic standards and advertising rules in the US. Some things are as you say, but when something is guaranteed organic or should I say certified it is true. Have you ever compared an organic field to a non organic field? There is a huge difference, also many no pesticide items are genetically modified to “naturally” repellent pests thus not needing chemical pesticides. Do ur research before you just say things, because what your saying isn’t generally true. There is a difference and a reason for price increase in organic and pesticide free foods.
Cleopatra's hair care secrets( castor oil and honey on regular basis)= 4b-c hair care. Sugaring rather than waxing, razor or blade of some sort= coarse, dark hair. Her hair and skin texture was very close to mine. 4c, thick, dark and coarse.

Thanks for sharing can you share the formula/ recipe
How to use???
I wish I can try it out to sort out my underarm hair problem.

Samuel115s she actually could have been fair skinned since she was actually a greek.
to other brown skinned people she would be fairer maybe lol
she wasn't greek , she was egyptian.
Samuel115s She was Macedonian/Greek, not really dark at all ^^
ChocoCaramel Europeans only started to develop white skin after 2000 years ago so she could not have been pale. White people are actually a very new edition to humanity.

Cleopatra was dark skinned. She was short and curvy too. What made her attractive was her intelligence.
she was Greek
a white person
Farheen Tabassum yes she was
Farheen Tabassum your comment implies that short, curvy, dark skinned women aren’t attractive so I’m going to assume you’re an idiot.
no she was greek
I did not knew that it was imposible for me to walk through a mall without someone trying to sell me a sea salt scrub

She was beautiful according to that time beauty standards.
I heard it was her personality as well.
FYI Cleopatra was never white....
she was... she was Greek
hanan sweety she was actually mixed Macedonian Greek and Egyptian. You can google it and plenty of research and credible sources. Her father was Macedonian Greek but their bloodline had been in Egypt for 300 years so there was surely intermixing and her mother was of mixed ancestry.
+idylledoll Kleopatra’s mother had no Egyptian ancestry neither did any of the other Ptolemies.
Thanks miss.....☺☺😊😊
She says "Honeyyy" so funny 😂😂
I thought the thumbnail was lettuce leaves instead of cabbages so I was like IS THAT WHY THEY ARE CALLED LETTUCE CUPS OHMAIGOD

Ugh. It's not about the cabbage leaves. It's about them being cold. It's the same concept as a sprained ankle.
Kendra Morris I imagine it's also useful that they're already the perfect shape to slip in there unnoticed
Actually, it is about the cabbage leaves! They are full of phytonutrients, vitamins, anthocyanins, and glutamine that contain anti-inflammatory properties.

jason dirt. they can use an all natural pesticide such as neem oil and your harvest would still be organic
Shannon O'Krongley Organic pesticides are not as effective and therefore organic farmers have to use MORE pesticides, not less.
