The by far BIGGEST book launch mistake is to NOT have a launch plan or strategy in place. Most children's authors (or most authors in general, really) think that by simply hitting the proverbial publishing button, that things will just start to happen on their own, and that people will just come.
Sadly, that's NOT the case. So in this video, I will share the 5 most important things you will need to successfully launch your beautiful children's book.

Hi Eevi! You spoke of using a social media page as part of the build-up for a launch, but how would the pre-release page gain traction? Especially on Facebook, where you can't really use hashtags etc? How do you get potential customers to find a page which doesn't have any releases attached to it?

How do you establish what your specific goals are? How many reviews/sales should be targeted?
I'm so happy to hear this! And our goals are completely up to us. The important part is that we do set one for ourselves, so that we have something to work towards. I personally always try to launch with a 10-20 reviews as a goal in mind. But if you, for example, have a large launch team that you know you can count on, then you can absolutely set a much higher goal.

Hi Eevi, I have two questions about the launch. 1. If you print your book in Dec 2023 for example, but you plan to launch in February 2024, what is the year of publication in the inside pages? Would it be 2023 or 2024 and 2. Is KDP the only way to create a children's ebook? A big thank you as always for your terrific content! x
I would choose the year of publication. So if you are having your book printed overseas, but it won't be published/ made available for sale until 2024, I would use 2024 as the year of publication. I so hope this helps.

Hi Eevi, I hope you’re having a great day! Do you recommend launching the ebook version at the same time as you launch the print version? Or is it better to launch the ebook version a little earlier?
Also, is it all right to send members of your launch team little gifts to let them know how much you appreciate them? Or is that frowned upon? Thank you so much…I really appreciate all you do!
I personally like to launch my ebooks and paperbacks at the same time. But that is completely up to you! By offering different formats, we provide our launch team with a cost effective option to support us, while making our paperback available at the same time. And as long as your gift isn't conditional (where your launch team would be required to leave their review in order to receive your gift), you should be good to go. I so hope this answers your question.

Is it better for me to have as many people as possible buy and post a review THE FIRST DAY MY BOOK IS AVAILABLE ON AMAZON, or to spread it out over time? ie, 5 Day 1, 5 Day 2, 5 Day 3, etc. or maybe 5 Day 1, 10 1st week, 10 2nd week, etc. ??? I am using your 30-Day Launch program, but I just need to clarify. Thank you!
Happy Friday, Laura! I don't believe we need to spread out the posting of our launch team's reviews. You will find oftentimes, it usually takes people quite some time to take action, so the reviews will pop up on different days anyways. I so hope this helps! Have such a wonderful launch, Laura!

Hi eevi.. Does your course teach how to launch to a person who's not active on social media? I have a FB account but I'm not active at all so will your course still be helpful?
Because we want to reach as many as we possibly can during our book launch, having access to a social media account is highly recommended, whether that's Facebook, Instagram, or any other platform that you or your friends and family usually use to stay in contact with each other. An active personal social media account would make things a lot easier for you, but if you have other means you can reach people with (via email, phone, or in person, for example), then that would work as well.

Hi Jacqueline! There are so many different domain name providers, and each has a slightly different interface. If you have specific questions, it might help to perform a google search PLUS the name of the domain name provider you wish to use. For example, [your question] + GoDaddy, for example.
