No shade at all to you, your makeup is beautiful and blended and colorful, but what Instagram filter lighting tricks is miss Mattel using to make those products look so graphic and opaque? She always looks like she using house paint on that mug haha there’s some trickery afoot!

Jaymes is using a small amount and ‘smearing’ it across the eyelid, so it looks more transparent. Trixie loads it up like toothpaste and paints on a graphic line so it’s really solid
Lovin this but I did think the white would be a lot more opaque!
I think Jaymes used a lot less product for the white because she just used it for cutting the crease
@@OliverHeikkinenI was just going to comment the same! I watched Trixie’s reveal video and it looks super opaque. She would never release anything that wasn’t top of the line.
@@trishamarieOne of the Dragula queen's reviewed it and was disappointed with it as it's not very opaque and needs several layers which is the opposite of how Trixie made it out to be.
@@trishamarie That has to do with the application, Jaymes uses barely a scoop for his whole lid. Most people don't want white to be Trixie white on the eye.
Trixie said to use it as two layers to build opacity, and it looks like James onky did one and purposely applied it thinly so it wouldn't be too harsh. Which tbh, it's great to know it can do that!

I only just recently got into gel liner. Pencils are too hard or too soft, and liquid is unforgiving of the slightest yip; one bump and *WONK!* you're screwed. Gel is GORGEOUS for both my eyeline and my eyebrows when I wear black hair.

I don't know if I'm sold on these eyeliners yet. I was expecting more coverage and contrast but the white looks pretty transparent.
And the black doesn't look that black either. I think I'll stick with Maybelline and Inglot. I'd love for someone to do a side-by-side comparison! 👍🏻
Most queens don't cake on white liner like Trixie.

Answer to title question? YES! Tracy will put pink in your eye (and she's eating a meatball sandwich right out in class! And she's been passing notes!)
You don't need to set these liners which is great when doing very fine line work.
