VERDICT WATCH: Best Friend Murder Retrial - GA v. Austin Ford - Day Three

- A Georgia man is being retried for allegedly shooting and killing his friend, leaving her body in a park. This is the second trial against Austin Tybre Ford, 22. A judge had to declare a mistrial on May 1. Jurors convicted Ford of theft by taking, and one count of concealing the death of another, but they deadlocked on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault. They could not agree on whether or not he killed Tori Lang, 18.

The defense attorney is incredible!! I’ve watched many televised trials, and this man is the very definition of organized, methodical, and expresses the argument so intelligently. Very impressive.

This case is a lil yay or nay to be honest… The defense seem to have a good case as well Da but I think from watching this retrial I do believe this may go in the favor of the defense again just my opinion. There’s a big reason why the jury needs to rewatch that video of the interview of the detective and defendant which brings concern because this same issue happened a lot in the first trial which was a result of a hung jury. This retrial is very interesting and I’m waiting to see the outcome. We should have a live after trial thoughts and opinions on what everyone thinks about this trial. May Tori continue to rest in peace and God hold her close to him always♥️🙏🏽❤

Think the judge is a little ignorant of her job. Never, ever give a juror’s name even after trial, why did she do that? She doesn’t realize two microphones will pick up her heavy breathing? Thought her decision to make everyone watch the video was ridiculous. No reason the jurors cannot watch it in the jury room unless the State & defense are going to testify to it.
