This is exactly what I'm looking for in a zombie story, at least so far. I call it "procedural zombie" stories. Highly realistic, step by step narrative about what might happen realistically. Love it so far

Hollywood would ruin it, unfortunately but TV seems to do a better job following the script as seen with Reacher

Haha, no, no I do not. I'm full time now, so I'm at my computer typing away 40-50 hours a week. I get to wake up every day and tell stories, I'm loving it. Plus since this is my only job, I need the content, haha.
And if you think this is bad, just wait another month when the AI video software becomes available 😉

Nice, really cool seeing how this all pops off from their point of view. They certainly treat the situation opposite the military, looking forward to how this plays out. Great story dude! On to the next one haha
Yeah after doing Gun Runners it just felt like the militia was coming off as a faceless bad guy who was just there to be bad. I wanted to give a small POV taste of what they went through to make the situation one giant shade of gray rather than it being black and white
It definitely helps, because I live in an area that would act this way. However years back I did time in the army. So while it's been great seeing the soldiers pov, its a double edged sword. What would I have done? So while I felt a ting everytime a soldier got it, these people are you and I on this situation.

Glad you enjoyed it! I wanted to put a human face to the militia so that they didn't come off as faceless villains. I just finished book 2 and I'm digging how they're coming across. It's not black and white in the apocalypse.

Snow is residing and I am starting to go back to cleaning up spring things I lost a huge tree it miss my house by inches and by truck by half a inch found good tree trimer that cleaned it up. I'm taking a break thanks for your great story telling 😊

So this 4 part Militia series is a setup to the military's next move. I realized after The Gun Runners, the militia was coming off as a faceless group of badguys, so I wanted to do a little bit of backstory on them to make them fleshed out human characters and not mustache twirling stock badguys. the military will be back in a few weeks though!

This might be good with a better narrator. The narrator is so monotony and unemotional it really flattens out the suspense and excitement.

Story might be good but I can’t get over the AI bot reading. I much prefer a human
Understandable. A lot of the series is human narrated, but after burning through my backlog of stories, I was left with two choices. Have a human narrator, but only be able to afford to release a story once every 3-4 months. Or go AI and be able to release 2-3 stories a week. The good news is, the AI voice is getting a lot better. Won't be too much longer before you can't tell the difference.

This is such a great story I've listened to the entire story episode except St Maries pt 2 the girl that started reading the story was awesome the 2nd guy that was reading was great but this 3rd guy is flat out terrible and if I wasn't so interested and have so many hours invested in the story I would have already stopped listening because of how lousy of a reader this guy is. If he's still reading after st Maries pt 2 I'm done listening. This really is a great story and I have definitely enjoyed it other than this reader. Hopefully there's more to this story and hopefully without this guy's low quality narrative
