- Business school is a great personal and professional investment, but the cost is very high! In this video, I share my journey to landing 3 fully funded scholarships from Top MBA schools in the United States. I also did not have to pay any application fees for all the 11 schools I applied to and I explained the process of getting them waived in this video.
The fantastic thing about this scholarship is that it comes with a Graduate Assistantship role that helps to cover for part of my living expenses.

Hi fisayo, I like your video, and it is very inspiring. I have used some of your approaches to getting an application fee waiver, and it has worked. I already have 4 application fee waivers.
My options of graduate studies are financial risk management, and accounting. However, I've been having difficulty telling compelling stories, especially for the FRM as my essay. All I can think are the generic that may not add value to my complete application.

What’s your background? Have you taken any of those courses in school or during professional exams? You can draw parallels from your previous knowledge of the subjects, your experience with it (if you’re in the accounting field), and your future aspirations especially as it relates to financial risk management. You can also identify loopholes in some risk management systems and then propose solutions in your essay. Talk about how furthering your education will empower you to create those solutions

Grateful if you could clarify your lines around clicking ‘waiving your rights to see your recommendation writeups’. Logically thinking, if you waive your rights to see something…you won’t (or might not) have access to them as you have waived your rights…please clarify.

Hmm, honestly I was having a serious doubt (as to whether or not click on this video when it suddenly pop up to my CZcams screen while I was having time in the restroom few minutes ago) due to anxiety (“Anxiety? Why anxiety, this is just a CZcams video like any other.”)...yeah, I get it, but I know what I meant (sigh). Due to anxiety because I’m a little bit mentally worked up as regards the whole process of international application...but I am glad that I stayed till the end because listening to how to tactically deal with the recommendation letter helps. Hello Fisayo, I'm really glad I came across your videos. Very informative and instructional. You did mention how you were able to secure application fee waivers for all 11 schools. But another cost that could really take a lot is the official transcript been demanded for submission by some schools. How were you able to send these to all 11 schools you applied to? Or did you make them accept unofficial copies which is less expensive?
Good question. For some of the schools, they allowed me send an unofficial transcript. I only sent the official transcript to about 3 schools but I don’t remember which particular ones, so yes that was an additional cost

When they say 100% funding does this include accommodation, living expenses, visa fee/flight. Or it's it just tuition fee? Secondly, did you have to sign any agreement.. Like mandating you to return back to your country after studies? Or that is left open?

No I didn’t use professors because my recommenders had more insight on my career than professors that taught me 7 years ago

Hi Femi! Thanks for watching. You may need to use an educational consultant for that service. I believe everyone has the capacity to put in the work to get full funding, that’s my generic opinion which many people may not necessarily agree with.
