You've outdone yourselves with this one. I especially love the historical parts and your experiences. More please.
Aww thank you Ben, such a lovely thing to say - we are getting a little more comfortable sharing the personal memories nowadays. :)
I feel like this is the pinnacle of a Dale & Paula video. It's so perfect.
That is quite a compliment - thank you very very much, you made my night. :)
Brought tears to my eyes! So wonderful to see the Sahara going strong again. We were there last year and it’s beautiful ❤️
Aww that's such a sweet reaction - we love to bring you videos that make you relive some great Vegas memories :)
It is nice to have the little tributes to the past like some of the old names. The floor decor inspired by the old chandeliers is another tribute. We can't go back and we probably shouldn't but little remembrances are fitting.
Well said, yes! And it was the little remembrances that charmed us the most.
They did a good job with this one. Updated and nice, but enough reference to the old Sahara for the nostalgia.
Well said, yes - we thought the same. They did include some fitting tributes to what the Sahara once was, and that charmed us.
I remember our memories started with myself as a child staying at Sahara and as I got older and got married we started making memories with our children here and at the Riviera and El Rancho 😭 now our children live in Vegas and husband and I will soon retire here! we ❤️ Vegas
OK this is a great story - wow! Your whole life is woven through with great Vegas memories, and we love that. This is a great place to retire, and we know you are going to love it, especially as your family is already here. :)
always a great treat to see Dale and Paula most every Sunday Morning,
Such a nice thing to say, thank you! We are always so amazed that people choose to spend part of their Sunday with us. :)
I love all things old school so it is wonderful to see the Sahara back.
Yup, so do we! We would much rather a historic place like this get a new owner, new life, than be torn down a la the Stardust...sigh.
Never knew the Sahara looked so good. Thanks Dale and Paula for sharing with us. We will be in Vegas soon and will definitely check out the Sahara. Again thank you both for sharing your GREAT videos!!
Aww thank you so much - lovely comment. We hope you have a wonderful stay here!
What a great video! I loved the before and after segment. I especially loved the very last (vintage) shot of Dale on stage! My first two times in Las Vegas were in 1980 and 1982, and I am so thankful that I still got to see a fair bit of the old Vegas. I love music of the 40's and 50's (before my time LOL) and my brother and I often wish that we could have seen some of the big names performing, such as Sammy, Dean or Frank, or Louis, Keely or Sam. Most of all, I wished I would have seen Dale McKenzie on stage! What awesome performers they all were! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Oh Mike, this is the NICEST comment!! OMG well Dale was definitely here in 1980, somewhere...you just missed him. :) We too love the great music of the 40s and 50s, and if you ask Dale what his greatest regret would be, it's that he couldn't scrape together the money to go see Dean Martin live. He idolized that guy.
@@paulamckenzie Dean was THE best, wasn't he! Thanks Paula and Dale 🤗
Hey guys! Wow I miss those golden years too! What a treat! Thank you so much!
Yep we bet you do - you lived through them as well! We are just glad they didn't knock down the Sahara, but instead chose to give it new life.
All of LV history is priceless. I'm a U.S. West history buff and very much appreciate your enthusiasm for history. Old photographs from any era, any country always get my attention. Thanks for adding this extra touch to your charming videos. What a wonderful and touching story about the telethon. I can see how you'll treasure that forever. You two wonderful hosts.
The Sahara was my go to back in my early 20s with friends. the rooms were cheap, the tables were minimums were low and the staff was great. sure it was a little run down with age but it was we always had such a great time there. I stayed there 5 times between 2007 and 2010 I miss it.
Wow, those are some great memories! We love it when our video brings back some great Vegas Vacation memories like these.
Lucky to see this vlog about the Sahara, its history and how beautiful it is now.Nice to know the famous great personalities that were a big hit there.More power to you both!👍👍👍
We are so glad you enjoyed the history on this one - it’s our favorite part! 😊
Nice to see the old and new. I last went there July 4, about 18 years ago......had stupidly worn new shoes to fireworks at the stratosphere and walked to the Sahara to see about getting a cab. Not happening, but I did walk around, barefoot and they had some of the oldest video poker machines at the time and cheap frozen beverages. It was fun and we took the CAT bus back to Caesars. Thanks for the tour and including memory lane. Nice outfit!
OK this is a fun memory (although painful I think!). We love when our videos bring back a fun Vegas Vacation memory for you the viewer. :)
Thank you both for the peek at today's Sahara. I truly appreciate your love of Vegas past and present. Particularly the passion you show, Dale, for vintage Vegas and sharing of your golden memories. I hold dearly to memories at the Mirage, Aladdin, and Monte Carlo. I moved here to enjoy suburban living in the desert as well as the glitz of the Strip and downtown (when in the mood, ha ha). Thanks so much! Here's to Vegas past and present!
We love love love hearing from locals, especially locals who love and appreciate this town as much as we do! Yes, Dale is very passionate about Las Vegas past and present, and loves nothing more than sharing that passion, and his own great memories. Thanks for watching, Diana. :)
Wow! The Sahara really cleaned up nicely! So good to see it alive and well after 70 years with so much of the early Strip's history gone. I do miss the NASCAR Cafe. That was my first Sahara experience, probably around 2000 or 2001? The pieces of the old roller coaster are rusting away in a vacant lot across from Mandalay Bay behind a McDonald's. Thanks for the video!
Yes, we just learned that about the coaster - kind of interesting that it is still hanging around. We are just glad they didn't tear down the Sahara, but chose to give it new life!
I remember seeing so many shows at the Sahara. My favorite will always be Charo with that cuchi cuchi and her guitar playing. Thanks for the memories.
Ohh Charo is a big favorite of Dale's too - so much fun, but even more, SO talented!
Thank you Paula and Dale. I enjoyed this visit to memories lane a lot. You are such a wonderful couple. I wish you many more years of happiness, now, that you are ready for retirement. You deserve to enjoy those memories and enjoy life while relaxing. Bless you!
Oh Rephael, such a lovely thing to say - thank you! Believe me, we feel blessed most days, and we count ourselves incredibly lucky to be in touch with such a wonderful group of people, through this channel. :)
Never knew The Sahara still hanging around, in a way. Looks like an appealing whiff of Old and New Vegas.
You know, it changed hands several times, was renamed, rebranded, etc, but never was super successful in recent decades...and it is all alone up there at the Sahara corner. Easy to overlook, it's far from center Strip.
Thank you for this wonderful video. I saw Don Rickles and Johnny Carson at the Sahara in the 70's. Judy Garland performed at the Sahara in the 60s but I was too young to go to Las Vegas. Great memories and truthfully I miss the old Las Vegas with mob controlled hotel casinos like the Desert Inn and the Dunes. The rooms and food and even the entertainment were very reasonably priced. By the way, I really appreciate the hard work that the two of you put into making your videos. Continued success!
Thank you, Ron, this is a lovely comment, and we truly appreciate the compliments. You are talking some real greats at the Sahara, and lucky you, that you got to see those people in their prime, live.
Great review of The Sahara. Nice to learn a local business has rescued it. Also love watching and listening to all the Old Vegas stories! Thanks Dale & Paula..have a fantastic week!🇨🇦❤️
The new owner is actually from Reno, but that's still Nevada, so we will call it local. :) And thank you so much for enjoying the old Vegas stories - we are getting a little more comfortable with sharing those nowadays.
I wish I could go back in time just to walking down the strip and see the Stardust again. I love the classic vegas and thank you for remind me of my old good times in Vegas. Your fan from Rio de Janeiro.
Well hello down in Rio de Janiero! We are so flattered that you watch us way over on the other side of the equator - thank you! :) And we agree - would be great to walk back into the Stardust once more.
Nobody that talks about Vegas compares to you two Dale and Paula! Normal people talking about the things in Vegas I want to know about. All good all positive and most of all fun fun fun to watch! I knew you were around my age that's another reason I enjoy your programming! Don't ever stop doing this. You're very entertaining! As for us baby boomers too I really can relate! As can all generations who enjoy information delivered with a cute friendly style! Love you guys!! Bravo!!! 🎉😂❤ Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight Nooowwwwww!
I stayed there in the 90s. I remember being pleasantly surprised. Back then I didn’t mind trekking to the monorail to get around. I don’t know if I’m up for that now.
Right, and that has always been the issue - the Sahara is just too far from everything else. But, I think, with the Fontainebleau and Resorts World being close by, that might increase foot traffic in the near future.
This was so fantastic! Nothing beats old Las Vegas. And you are right, Paula, as soon as you blink Vegas changes. I would really like to see a video of you and Dale taking the monorail from one end to the other and visiting the stops along the way.
Thank you for watching, we appreciate you. :) And that is a terrific idea - we will put that on our list!
Oh NO; I'm REALLY OLD! HAH; Wonderful work on the 'New' and fabulous memories of the old Sahara & Las Vegas! You kids both look absolutely terrific and Thank You! Best wishes to your son & his family!
Aww thank you James, such a nice comment. :)
I got to go to the Jerry Lewis Telethon at the Sahara in the early 90's when I lived in Vegas. I remember also standing in the long line waiting to get in during the early evening hours. But, I went back in the middle of the night & the audience was kind of thin & I got to spend hours watching the show. What a wonderful experience it was.
This is a lovely memory, and we thank you for sharing it! Dale attended right around 1979-80, and even in the middle of the night the place was packed. Ahhh those golden days!
I love your enthusiasm in this video. I am a huge fan of the Sahara and Las Vegas history. This was a pleasure.
We are too, Sandra - and that's why the enthusiasm is genuine! 😊
I miss the old Sahara. We moved here in 2002 and it was our favorite casino. My sons loved the buffet.
Sigh…we miss ALL the old casinos from bygone days!
Great video. We were at the Sahara in 2007 & 2008 never went there when It was SLS but definitely loved it. The old entrance was beautiful. We have old pictures but to see it on video was amazing thank you so much.
Cheers 🥂🥂🥂
You are so right, that old entrance with the camels was great...now the only camels you see are on that library shelf in the lobby lol...
Excellent video and cannot believe how wonderful the Sahara looks!! Thx for sharing! ❤️
Thank you, Donna, for tagging along for this then-and-now visit!
Happy Sunday Dale & Paula
So cool to see the Sahara past and present! Thanks for sharing! Back in the day (early 2000s), the rollercoaster was called "Speed, The Ride", while short and fast, was alot of fun...and associated with the Nascar Cafe too! At about the same time, magician Steve Wyrick had a show there...it was a really great show.
Yep, you are correct about all of that. :)
As usual, I loved the entire video today, but I loved hearing about your experience with the Jerry Lewis telethon. He was my comedic hero growing up and I’d stay up all night, camped out on the couch every year watching it. Thanks for another wonderful video folks!
Oh we are so glad you enjoyed that little reminiscence! We are often hesitant to include personal stories, but lately we have been getting a little braver about putting them in. And I totally get the whole staying up all night for the telethon thing - you never know what big star will come on at 3 am!!
I love the new Sahara and you've eloquently captured all the reasons why. The nod to its legendary past is the charm. Sad to realize it'll never achieve those heights again, but I love making a trip during each trip and hope it succeeds. As we say goodbye to landmarks like Tropicana and Mirage, we have to appreciate the icons that remain.
Thank you for watching, and we agree - we need to cherish the Las Vegas history we still have.
Started staying at the Sahara in 1965; what a great place in the 60s - 70s
You show off our city so well. We are big fans! ❤️
Thank you so very much - that is a lovely comment :)
I haven't been to the Sahara for years... I will have to go there again. Very cool! Thank you for sharing...❤❤❤
And thank you for tagging along with us on the tour :)
Fantastic video! Love to see all the history behind this place and all the legendary entertainers who visited. Thanks for all your hard work!
Thank you so much for this kind comment - we loved doing this one, I think you could tell. :)
Thank you so much Dale & Paula for another fantastic vlog! I love the Sahara! I’m from the U.K & stayed there in 2000 & 2009 & had wonderful stays both times. I was so sad when I heard it had closed. I wasn’t keen when I looked at the SLS online back when it opened, but seeing this 2022 Sahara, I’m really happy! Love the nods to the original Sahara. I’m so pleased I got to ride the nascar rollercoaster & I’ve got photos & videos from the front of the old Sahara. Great memories! Lots of love from over the pond & keep up the great work!xvx
Such a lovely comment, thank you so much for taking the time to write! And, thanks for watching us. :) We love it when our videos bring back good memories of your own Vegas trips!
@@paulamckenzie oh gosh honestly, no need to thank me! Thank you so much for taking the time to read & reply to my comment! You & Dale are absolutely wonderful. Your channel brings so much joy to so many of us! Keep up the great work! Much love.xvx

Wow was this a well thought out video. The editing and flow is amazing. I entered the "Sahara" before it closed and let me tell you, it was a well worn-out gem on the strip. Sorry to say I missed the public auction because I would have loved to have a souvenir of the place. I had some fun there over the years. The Superman ride was incredible. I really wasn't into the NASCAR. I'm glade that it saw interest as the SLS and am super pleased to see its newest life. I am impressed by the incredible transformation. It's good to see that the parking is still free, although I bet the resort fees are high. The only worry I have about the property is that the neighborhood is still a bit ruff.
You're right, it's not a great area...but we hope the Fontainebleau maybe will help class it up a bit. We are just glad, with all that history, that the owners decided to give the Sahara new life rather than tear it down.
Memories! In the early 1980's, in the showroom at the Sahara, I saw Wayland Flowers and Madame. What a fun show. Does anyone even remember him?
Dale sure does! I read this comment to him, and he immediately called him to mind - a ventriloquist, and very popular back then!
Ooooh! I love when you take us on a little time traveling adventure! It's so interesting to see how these properties have changed over the years 😊😊
We love to do that too! We were so excited to use those pics from the liquidation sale in 2011 - it was so fun to share those.
Oh the Sahara! It was the site of the SOF conventions. Best New Years party ever in 1975. Does anyone remember the Thunderbird? That was a great place too. Thank you for doing these classic reviews.
You are most welcome - we love that name, "classic reviews"! Dale remembers the Thunderbird fondly, yes - those were the days, the late 70s, early 80s, and he still pines for them. 😊
i had one best nites in vegas in nascar cafe back in the 2000s the nascar fans are so welcoming i had no idea about stratagy in nascar but the fans enlightened me that nite i loved it stay safe u2
OK seriously, I bet that was a fantastic time! And oh yes, Nascar people are like rodeo people - the nicest folks you would ever want to meet!
Wow, great show, Sahara looks really good... Vegas always changes...Thank you so much!!!!
So glad you enjoyed traveling down memory lane with us :)
Wow! What a great episode🙌 Love the
Then and Now vibe and especially Dale’s stories of Vegas past. Next time we hang out, i have to tell you about my Jerry Lewis Telethon stories when i worked the show for a few years right up until its final year in Vegas at The South Point Hotel and Casino. By the way, that ending sequence final frame with Dale shredding on the banjo was absolutely priceless! 🤘
OK so I saw this the other day, and read it out loud to Dale, but I am just getting in to reply to the comments. OMG YES!!! Please, let's find time to talk about your telethon experiences!! And, so glad you caught that quick banjo clip :)
Great content. Great format. Keeping it real. Thank you.
Thank you - this is a lovely compliment :)
I was one of the audio engineers in the Congo Room at old Sahara. I ran Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show and Amazing Johnathan there.
We are very honored you watched our video and shared your memories about the Sahara. Thank you. 😊
Flip Wilson… Sugar Ray Robinson… The Jerry Lewis Telethon!!! I remember watching that as a kid the night before Labor Day and then all day afterwards. 🎶And could you arrange to let me keep the change, for me and My Kids…🎶 great memories☺️
You are so right - great memories! The telethon was such a huge part of all our Labor Day memories, of the end of summer, of seeing what famous person or act we would catch when we turned it on, at whatever time of day.
There Noodle Bar Restaurant was AWESOME, service was great but the food was fantastic. Can’t wait to eat there again next trip.
Oooh that is a great endorsement! Thanks for sharing! :)
Wonderful video Dale and Paula. It’s nice to see the history of the Sahara
So glad you were able to tag along for the old and the new! :) We loved the opportunity to share those pics of the liquidation sale.
Thanks for sharing such amazing history!! I remember growing up watching the Telethon.
We loved sharing it - and don't we all remember that Labor Day Telethon? A great tradition :)
This version of Sahara looks soooo much better. Huge upgrade but what is across the street. There was always a field there.
To hear the excitement and joy Dale, from you was heart felt. On wish I coud see you perform there pn last time.
Never have been there. Jacob and I may want stay there.
Paula ly is such a joy to see your excitement with Dale's. You have shared so much with this man.
Russell in Tucson, AZ
You are so right, Russell - after over 40 years, I sure have shared a lot with him! Marrying an entertainer is not for the faint of heart, it makes for an unusual and unorthodox life - but never boring! :)
Thanks for the tour of the new Sahara!!!! So much history!!! I will definitely check it out. Have a blessed 4th n stay well🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you Carmen, we appreciate you watching 😊
Dale; what an amazing story! I use to love watching Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon! And, yes I miss Vegas' Golden Years. Thank you Paula and Dale! Enjoy your week you two. Stay safe and healthy. CAB 😍
So glad you enjoyed the reminiscences....I think as time goes on we get a little more comfortable doing more personal stuff. :) You all seem to like the stories of way back when!
Hi Paula and Dale! What a blast from the past that was! I remember the Sahara from back then, but it is so much nicer now. I love the Jerry Lewis telethon story! I watched that show every year! Thanks for sharing!! Hugs!
We are so glad we included that telethon story, because it has brought back so many lovely memories in all of you! It was a shared piece of our youth that we all remember and cherish.
Thanks for the walk down memory lane, with a look at the 'then, and now." I hope you do more videos such as this.
Thanks so much, Buster - we really liked how this one and the Westgate turned out, and we hope to do more. Tropicana comes to mind. :)
What a wonderful vlog as always!! Nice to see pictures and stories from the past to the present.
Thanks so much, Kent! We sure loved doing this one, I think you could tell :)
You two look gorgeous! Walt and I got to stay here this past March. We really liked our room and the Casino. Also attended a wedding reception (BJ and Candace aka KenoKid) at the Azilo bar and lounge…that was awesome! Everything was beautifully redone👍! I love the trip down memory lane…so cool! Wow…so cool about the telethon…what a memory to cherish!! Thank you both for sharing yet another superb video!🥰 Hope to see you soon😉!
Ooooh I think I knew you two stayed at Sahara, but I never thought to ask what you thought of it. I am SO glad you liked your stay, and what they have done with the place - we didn't see the room or pool deck of course, but you did. :)
Great look at current as well the past Sahara
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the then-and-now journey.
I always wondered what the new Sahara looked like and thanks to you guys, now I know. I remember the old place when I visited it back in the 90's and it has been wonderfully transformed. That sure was a nice trip down memory lane and the Jerry Lewis telethon is something that I would go out of my way to watch on TV back then. Thanks for the tour of the new joint and the memories that comes with it. That was yet another outstanding production that you two do so very well. Bring on the next one.
Transformed indeed - the SLS people spent $415 million, I think, to totally gut the place and make it that young trendy boutique hotel in 2014....and then the Meruelo folks spent $150 million more to undo that and make it classier and more adult. LOL wouldn't you love to be in construction in Las Vegas?
Thanks again for a great Sunday vlog!
Thank you, you are so sweet!
very nice thank you dale and paula for the tour
So glad you were able to tag along for the old and new Sahara :)
Another fabulous video! I noticed the vibe has totally changed. More relaxed for adults who are not into the "Crazy Party" scene.
Ohh yes, definitely much more refined, classy - we loved all those seating areas everywhere. Totally different than what the SLS was going for.
Great video! Looking forward to checking it out this summer!
Another great vlog! Thank you. We monorail to the Sahara every trip. I especially liked it on our late November/early December trip when they had some holiday decorations out.
Taking the monorail to Sahara for a visit, a drink, a meal, is a great idea!
The Sahara was my favorite place I visited back on my 21st birthday in 2010… wish I would have known I’d never see the vintage Sahara again, I would have taken more pictures!!!! You are so lucky to have that chair. I would love to find one for myself! The slot chairs are one of my favorite things I remember from my visit there… and the fact it was the only hotel on the strip with waitresses that looked like they had been there since it opened 🤣 but I really enjoy times past. I’m not much for flashy and new.
I love the carpeting and all those old black-and-white photographs. I really loved some of the upholstery on those chairs in the different lounges. I think I'll catch the monorail at the Sahara and ride it all the way down and back. Always a fun video by you both thanks again.
thank you for sharing another great video
It's our pleasure to make these then-and-now videos, believe me - we had fun with this!
I remember the old Sahara with the rollercoaster & Nascar cafe. It was really ran down by 2008
Yes it was, and not making ends meet - which is why the owners made that tough decision in 2011 to just close it.
I loved this footage. I miss the old Vegas as well ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Carrie - I think that's kind of a universal thing...to miss the old days. :)
Thank you for the tour and look back. I really wish some of the old iconic casinos had been left, Stardust and the Riviera being two of them. ❤️
Ohh yes, Dale will surely agree. He worked for quite some time at the Westward Ho, in the lounge, and spent a lot of time in that area of the Strip. Lots of great memories. :)
I will be booking a stay at Sahara for 2023 June. Very reasonable (almost cheap) room rates and great location. Thanks Dale & Paula for referring me to this hotel.
The last time I was in Vegas I stayed at the Sahara. The roller coaster had just opened. They were getting ready to put in the NASCAR cafe. It wasn’t bad but did need updating. The new Sahara looks great. Nice nod to the Tangiers. Great video.
Well it sure has been updated many times since then - the SLS spent I think $415 million completely redoing the place, but they never were very successful. And now, another $150 million to undo all that and make it look like something else! Wouldn't you love to be a builder or contractor in this town lol?
Okay Dale and Paula you guys hit it out to park again one amazing video at another I just love you guys. I wanna to grow up to be just like you and Dale.. 😄🤗❤️💚
Aww you are the sweetest - what nice thing to say!
This is so cool and amazing, I also like classic Las Vegas; I love how Dale wore his costume and the fact that you went to the liquidation sale, bought a casino chair and got to explore the hotel after it closed it's very cool. The stories, the photos of the artists performing in the old days of Las Vegas in the lobby are beautiful it's like a mix of old and new. And this video is like the perfect birthday gift.
Note: The Fontainebleau will be open for the Super Bowl 2024 in Las Vegas.
So it was your birthday? Happy birthday, and I always love hearing from you! We really were excited to be able to share those pics of the liquidation sale and let you all see that cool piece of history. As for the Fontainebleau...I for one am very excited about this, can't wait to go exploring it after it opens. :)
@@paulamckenzie Yes, and thank you so much for replying I've been to Las Vegas twice one in 2005 and the other time was in 2006. ❤🥰
Great Stuff ! Incredible History ! Thanks for posting ! Hope all is well ! Rudy & Kat
All is well, Uncle - we really loved doing this one, I think you could tell. :)
Love hearing about all the history! Thank you so much for sharing your memories and creating this vlog!!
Aww thanks Janet, such a lovely comment - we are so glad you like the memories!
What a beautiful property. It’s decorated so elegantly. I went a while ago when it was SLS and I really didn’t care for it and didn’t go back. I hope with the new renovations and upgrades the property does better. You and Dale should go back to the CasBar Lounge for happy hour. I noticed on the sign it said buy one get one free beers. I almost missed the last shot of Dale on stage. What a nice touch. 😍
Aww we are so glad you caught that little snippet of the banjo! That was a last-minute idea Dale had, and I was so delighted when I saw it. As for the CasBar...ok, we are on our way for the two-for-one deal! :)
I have found if you leave clothes in a closet too long they shrink. Great video thanks
OK seriously, this is the best comment I've read!! LOL
I loved the look back. I remember going in the 90s and seeing the Nascar cafe and when they had the Star trek experience. I was never brave enough to ride that roller coaster lol. Great walk down memory lane. Will definitely check out the new Sahara on my next Vegas trip!
The Star Trek Experience was just down the road, at what was then the Las Vegas Hilton - and boy did I love it! Those two properties have been through some times, good and bad - but both are just loaded with great Vegas history. :)
@@paulamckenzie Thanks for correcting me. You are correct it was the Hilton. Guess my memory failed me on that one. Lol hope you are spoiling your granddaughter! ❤️❤️
@@lindapennington6380 OMG we sure did - didn’t want to come home! 🥰
The Sahara looks beautiful! Love your video!

They got rid of that weird statue in front when it was the SLS, great video! Btw congratulations on your retirement!
Yep they did - and yep, it was weird. :) And thank you, very much - not long now, I'm nervous and excited about the changes coming.
Love, love, love this video! I truly enjoyed the tour. I’ll have to stop by the Sahara in my upcoming August trip!
Thank you so much for all of your hard work…all of us appreciate you both!
Thank you so much for such a nice compliment!
I really enjoyed this video. Thanks for posting.
And thank you for tagging along with us to the new and improved Sahara :)
Really enjoyed this video. It brought back some good memories. I waited in a long line back in the mid 80’s to get into the telethon. I believe it was at Caesar’s Palace. Anyway, we ended up being in the room for the grand finale and final tote. Very emotional. I was 22 or 23. Now I want to go back through and see if I can spot myself in the crowd.
Wow! That must have been so emotional! To be there at the last, to hear "when you walk through a storm, hold your head up high"...gets me all teary-eyed just thinking about it. And yes, the telethon was at Caesars for a while.
Aww you guys look great! 😊 Love this vlog! It’s nostalgic for me too, it was my first LV stay when I was a kid in the 90’s visiting family. Can’t wait to stop in this summer 🙂
OK we love it when one of our videos brings back a great memory from your own visits to Las Vegas!
Headed to the happiest place on Earth(VEGAS)..LOL.!!...in a few weeks..Thankyou so much for all the info on things to do and places to see!!...😊🎲🎰
We love bringing you info and ideas - and so many of you take our recommendations and explore some of these places. Which makes us very happy! Hope you have a great visit!
I love you guys, great videos! the music is also very relaxing. Whilst most other Vegas bloggers their background music is like a nightclub 🤯
Great video you 2!! I didn't get to see the original Sahara but did dropped by SLS a few times. I haven't seen the new Sahara yet but it's on my next trip bucket list
We appreciate you watching 😊
Hey I met you in park mgm last week. I’m the one from the “big Apple” on the 401. I just got home today. Hope you’re having a good trip! Keep up the good work !🎰🥳
Well hi Ian!!! Yes, we remember meeting you and talking about Cobourg and the Big Apple! So nice to run into you, and hope you hurry back soon. :)
Excellent video
