34067 Tangmere with a Charter (Northern Belle) - 19/11/2023

34067 Tangmere with a Charter (The Northern Belle) carrying a headboard "The Rolex Express" from Bradford Forster Square to Preston via Keithley, Hellifield, and Carnforth and then back as far as Carnforth (with Tangmere on the back) on Sunday 19th November 2023.
The train is seen heading for the start at Bradford with Tangmere and stock being dragged backwards by 57601 Windsor Castle passing Lane Side and Kettlesbeck and then Eldroth in the pouring rain (which wrecked the going away shot) on the way to Preston. On the return 57601 Windsor Castle dragged Tangmere and the train back as far as Carnforth where 57313 Scarborough Castle replaced Tangmere before the train continued back to Bradford diesel hauled.

Unfortunately we didn’t see any steam at the weekend because of other commitments. We have not captured any main line steam tours this year. Not a good year for us this year. Hopefully it may be a better year next year. Not so easy as we are in the 70s club. Age catches up with us.all .. . Best wishes C&A
