@@Davidsbeenhere , there is a part at the bottom of a wall ( think it's near the Beef Eaters housing ) that's called the Mint were back in the day coins were made for the King , it was stopped after a better place was found and turned into a firing range.
During WW2 German spies were shot in the range. !!!
The Tower of London...read about in History classs...very interesting...the Crown jewels are really v magnificent....the place has beautiful arch lecture ....also thanks to Emma for explaining...Thanks as always David...be safe....Peace.

Kohinoor was given to British by Sikh King Duleep Singh. There was a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the supreme court seeking the return of Kohinoor from Britain. In response to the PIL on April 18, 2016, Solicitor General representing Government of India desisted from making attempts to bring back the Kohinoor diamond stating that if they succeed then every other nation will start claiming items from Indian museums which would put Indian museums in a precarious situation.
