Hi everyone! I am 1/2 Italian. I had to laugh b/c my daughter was going to Long Island w/ her boyfriend (at the time). She gets there to his families house and they offer her ginger ale to drink. ( My mom would always have ginger ale in the fridge and she would pour her some when we used to visit mom). So my daughter calls me and says: "Hey ma, what is it w/Italian people and ginger ale?" I laughed and said IDK kiddo. Incidentally, this guy's brother happened to live just down the street from my first cousin, Liz. Small world! Btw, when I was little, we lived in Oakdale, LI NY. We would go visit my maternal grandparents, grandma & grandpa Ferrari in Bensonhurst in Brooklyn. Grandpa would go to the pastry shoppe and bring back Canolli's and Italian cookies. I loved visiting them on Sundays! They are both passed on now and I miss them so much. Everytime I have a Canolli, I think of grandpa Ferrari and all the wonderful memories.

Italian born and raised here, I married my American husband (military) 10 years ago, but I doubt things changed much: the second question sounded fishy, there is no way parents with a work visa can bring their adult child in the US. They need a green card or citizenship, and the adult child (over 21) has to be unmarried. I know because it's the same family visa you'd get for a spouse, which is what my husband had to do for me. It's also a pretty long and expensive process

Not sure if it's the camera setting or lighting, but the difference between the two Lisas was very distracting.
