Seems like a lot of expats and transplants in the Caribbean coastal towns of central America. I think Limon/Puerto Viejo may be the most popular. But you can see this in Bocas del Toro Panama, and Belize.
There is also heavy afro Caribbean heritage in Bluefields/Corn island Nicaragua, Bay islands Honduras, San Andreas Colombia, and to a lesser extent Colon Panama.
definitely lots of expats ... Dont get the transplants part... but yes i agree with you on that as that was also stated in the Jamaicans of costa rica documentary video i made. its a special thing when i see the cultures combines as one in love, peace & harmony. Puerto Viejo is special - definitely

Aww Nate i wouldn't like to say that... they are very nice people - they let me volunteer their for 3 whole months during the beginning of the pandamic and man they really treated me good. honestly ... at least for me i had a incredible experience there and with them... and yes most people there are travelers & expats ... but if anyone ever doesn't like the vibe there . then i wouldn't recommend them to stay... even though they got the BEST TACOS!
